I've got a new blog where I rate inspirational romance novels based on just the romance. It's a bit of a different idea, I know, but I'm having fun with it. I don't have a follower widget, but you can subscribe via email or use the RSS feed if you want to follow my posts. Nice meeting everyone!

Sounds interesting, I just signed up to follow you.

You can check out my blog at wfbcmediacenter.wordpress.com
I do book reviews and monthly featured authors/book giveaways.
Right now, with my review of Grandmother's Namesake, I'm giving away an autographed copy of the book. The giveaway is just today and tomorrow (8/29-8/30) just find the review and make a comment to enter.

Beginning on September 1st I'll have an interview with a new local author, Denise Weimer and will have an interview with her and giveaway an autographed copy of her book, Sautee Shadows. That giveaway will last 9/1 - 9/8.

So come on over and follow us. You might win a book or at least be blessed by reading about authors and books, we have a devotional each Friday and post free and discounted e-books as I find them.

Debbie

Jean Coleman | 79 comments I'd like to invite you to take a minute or two to look at my blog which is comprised of little stories (or as the Bible would call them "parables") that contain spiritual truths to those who have the eyes to see. You can go to my website at www.facebook.com/chapter29 or just click on my little photo on the left to go to my Goodreads' author page that also carries my blog postings. And perhaps you'd like to read my book "Chapter 29 Revisited" that tells how I met Jesus and my life was changed. I have written for many Christian magazines and now my great joy is sharing my blog with others. I'm looking forward to reading the blogs from those in this group. Blessings!

message 369: by Jean (new)

Jean Coleman | 79 comments "THE GRAPEFRUIT DILEMMA" is a new posting on my blog that brings forth a spiritual truth through a very simple story. You can read this modern-day parable right here on Goodreads just by clicking my little photo on the left of this comment. Or you can go to my public website at www.facebook.com/chapter29 to see my blog as well as some photos from my ministry around the world. I am the author of "Chapter 29 Revisited."

Debbie Hey friends,

I'm asking a huge favor! Please visit my blog and read the really great interview with Christian author, Elizabeth Ludwig. She is a fantastic lady, funny too!

I'm one of her influencers and I'm helping her promote her new book, Dark Road Home, and she's donating an autographed copy of the book ! So please stop by THIS WEEK, 9/23 - 9/27 and make a comment to enter to win or just to say something nice to Elizabeth. She will be stopping by from time to time to read the comments and reply.

I really want this to be an encouragement to her.
Here's the direct link: http://wfbcmediacenter.wordpress.com/...

Thanks so much!!!!

Mark Myers (thebookcurmudgeon) I've just started blogging, probably a little unorthodox, but that's okay, so am I. My books are centered in a small southern town, so I am blogging from different characters' perspectives. Loving every minute of it and starting to see hits.

Feedback and advice always welcome. God bless.

Debbie I loved this post. I too can have those plastic coffins in my fridge, that I keep shoving back because I don't have time to deal with them. I loved how you turned that to our minds and what sins and plastic coffins we have in them. With that too, I sometimes just shove it back and say "another day I'll get rid of them". Thanks for the encouragement and the humor!

Thanks so much for your encouraging comment about the blog post. I love writing these little modern-day parables and I'm so glad that you enjoyed reading it. I try to add one every ten days or so. People love stories and I guess that's why Jesus was always telling one.
