Hmm...title sounds familiar, but can't remember it exactly - Palmer was in quite a few comedies...
I am getting worried now. Mermaid wasn't good enough so what can we expect? Jud, please delete my reference to electric sheep. How many words are left?

I'm not sure what you mean about keeping sentences down to some minimum number, as if there were some written-in-stone magic maximum or optimum word count that best piqued the enjoyment of the reader, who probably likes to read the odd long sentence amidst a few of average length, and - if appropriate - a few short ones for dramatic effect so as to bring variety and richness to the pace and telling of the story.:)

What a shame more authors haven't risen to the challenge. Should be a piece of cake for them, and a bit of fun never hurt anyone.
I find it a really enjoyable exercise. Much more enjoyable than press-ups!
It was an interesting exercise - first time I've done anything like that & probably pants as a result. Looking forward to reading what the "pros" made of it. :)

Don't blame us authors. It can be a tough turnaround to write something up, get our editor on it, and then get it out to proof readers and back again all in such a short period ;)
