I read this book approximately 2 to 4 years ago. It was a futuristic YA book. In it, everyone had ratings or rankings, similar to Google ranking of websites. When people were in the news, their rankings went up. In this book, the female protagonist's rating shot up to the top for something she did. The characters could view their ratings and other information, like messages, by looking into a corner of their eye. I wish I could remember more.
