Personality: Seth spends large amounts of time meditating and indulging in his passion with art to help himself have a calm and peaceful personality. He is always mindful of his emotions and reactions to things and attempts to be a calm and stable as possible. He tries never act on extreme emotions, such as anger or jealousy, ties to take some time to think about things and the consequences. Seth is always respectful towards girls and has learned to develop compassion towards others, even if he doesn't like them. He cares alot about his friends, family, and the world around him. He's quite intelligent and street smart and has a fairly good intuition. He's confident in himself and never tries to show off. He does like to stand out a bit though.
History: Seth was raised with his mother in a not so classy part of town. He wasn't poor, but not rich either. He was just in the middle. He spent most of his childhood painting, sculpting and drawing and to this day his creative habits are still with him. He also tries to read as many books as he can, but he doesn't always have time for it. He has a strange liking for tea and his mother made a habit of collecting teacups. He was raised as an only child, due to the fact that his father died when he was 3. He's always been a very outgoing and creative person and has sort of dreaded the Masquerade. He's worried that he'll just 'dissapear' or that he'll end up with some boring housewife girl for the rest of his life.

Personality: Katerina is very rebellious unlike her other family members.She loved to prank people and caude havoc in everyone's life.She's never afraid to speak her mind to anyone,but looks can be deceiving.Everyone thinks she's just a spoiled brat with no brains.She is very intelligent and she would be with the pranks she pulls off.But even through this she can be a charming person.She loves to flirt and is a very good liar.Overall though to usual people who she can stand she's just very sarcastic and funny.
History: Katerina was born into one of the best and most rich family and this is where the problems arise.Because of her family she is expected to be perfect and everyone wants to mold her to be someone who isn't herself.Everyone wants to be her friend so they could get to her family or the riches that come with it.And because of this she acts out and has recently been put on house arrest(Grounded but that's her term for it.)Her parents have only let her go so she might be lucky and get someone of her status if she goes at 17.She disagrees with them and hated the Masquerade.She doesn't even expect to actually find someone.But everyone says she's wrong.She just shrugs her shoulders at them.

Personality: Luna is a quiet and shy girl. What she lacks in one part of being social, she excels at in another. She's amazing with body language and is very observant. She isn't much for talking out loud and is usually a follower. Luna knows to bite her tongue and keep her opinions to herself, she's done it her whole life. Around her friends she is a little more open and is quite bubbly and giggles often.
History:Luna grew up usually by herself, her family was usually gone and she just stayed by herself at home, not really socializing. At the age of 13 her family moved into the more wealthy lifestyle and she found friends. She learned how to be proper and everything. But she still feels alone. With all eyes turned on her for the Masquerade, she feels like she might just explode.

Personality: Alexandra has always been a party girl. It came natural; being loud,obnoxious,crazy,wild, and mean, always being better than everyone else. She's a natural leader and is always with friends and leading people into mayhem. She's lived life with a care-free way of thinking.
History:Alexandra was adopted as a newborn and basically lived crazy and wild for forever. At the age of 14 her family moved into a more wealthy lifestyle and she even got more crazy and wild. Alex ,for short, was given a wake up call last year when she didn't meet her soul mate at the Masquerade. She is quite bitter and she deeply resents her sister for stealing all the attention know that he sister, Luna, is going to the Masquerade.

Personality: Despite Celestica's appearance, she is not very sweet; Celestica is more..."bitter" to those she have never met. Once she gets to know that person more, she gradually becomes warmer and people will find a different version of Celestica than she usually is. Celestica has a warm and smile that brightens most people's dark heart. You can say that she's a human sun because of that. Celestica is also very mature for her age; to adults, she would seem like an adult in their eyes, this is probably due to having many siblings back at home. She's also a protective and thoughtful to her loved ones, doing whatever she can in her ability to help them. Most girls her age would usually care about fashion and beauty but to Celestica, the outside appearance isn't that big of a deal. She believes that the heart's beauty is more important. Not only that, Celestica is more of a tomboy than a "girly girl". Do not underestimate her. Her calmness and concentration is very strong.
History: Celestica is the oldest child of 6. Her parents had extremely high expectations of her to do well in everything she does and hopes that she will become successful. They raised her to become a strong and thoughtful girl. Her parents wanted her to become a worthy wife to the one she marries but Celestica, on the other hand, doesn't quite want to leave her family just yet. She wishes to stay with her family longer in order to help her parents take care of her younger brothers and sisters but she didn't want to disappoint her loving family and no choice but to go to the Masquerade. Celestica despises the Masquerade for separating her and her family.

Personality: he is the quiet, keeps to himself type ever since his parents died. don't be surprised to find him in a dark corner of the room alone or looked at the ground away from everyone else. he talks to himself sometimes. but when he does talk it's in a low, calm voice that would make you smile at how sweet he sounds. but if your willing to work at it and get to know him, he will be the best overprotective friend(or more) you've ever had.
History: when he was about 8 his parents died in a cr accident. when they did he learned to cook, clean, and pretty much take care of himself. he gave up on his social life and turned to art and book for his free time. he's never dated, never had a best friend, even though h's always gone to school. he just always keeps to himself.

Personality: Sarcasm is practically Dracy's middle name- she speaks it almost better then she does English. Dracy can be rather intimidating- while at school, she was the type of girl some people would shrink away from. She's never been one much for the rules, so when she turned 18 and could no longer push off coming to the Masquerade, saying she was not pleased would be a major understatement. Despite all this, she also has a sweeter side. Most people only get a glimpse of it, whether it's in the form of her passion for photography or volunteering at the animal shelter. Because, you know, animals are so much easier to deal with then most people.
More often then not, people get stuck on all her tattoos, love for metal music, and protectiveness (border-line OVERprotective-ness) to care to see anything else.
History: Dracy was originally from Romania, until she moved when she was eleven. Her older sister, who would now be 20, was one of the few to try and rebel against the government's rules. She never came home after one protest. Ever since then, Dracy has held silent loath, heavy enough to flatten the world, for the government. She keeps her hatred buried under a thin veil, often opting to simply keep her mouth shut around officials for fear they might catch on. She now has only a younger brother, who she is fiercely protective of.
Other: Dracy also knows how to dance to hip hop, not that it will do her much good at a ball-like dance. She also has a bad habit of singing under her breath when she thinks no one is listening.

Personality: The thing about Charlotte is that she’s expected to be the perfect little girl. Ever since being a child, she never really rebelled all that much. She never had the choice, she knew no other ways. Her parents were extremely controlling. So, now she’s just a girl trying to survive. She’s a little afraid of fighting back against the system, but lately it’s seemed exciting to her. But other than that Charlotte is pretty laid back, and is just that girl-next-door. She loves reading, very sharp and intelligent. She likes nature, animals, flowers, and often likes to draw them, she’s not terrible, and getting better but not the best. Her mood is usually light and not too serious, but she definitely can be.
History: Char’s parents are rather high on the social rank, they live in a rather large house and have servants and stuff. So, naturally, Charlotte was expected to go at seventeen, and had no choice. Growing up as one of two children, she’s always just tried not to stray away from her sister’s path because it was a little easier. Lately she’s been pondering her way of life, but her parents never worry. She’s always been obedient, and as long as they let her do
her little ‘exploring’ which is actually very well monitored despite her beliefs, she never had any
major problems.

Personality: Humorous. To no end! He can also be a people pleaser. He has his own rule book for life, and follows it all the times.
Spencer has no sense of boundaries, or personal space. Chea. Get used to it(: Spencer doesn't like to lose. Ever. He considers every word someone says a challenge, and he jumps on it. He's kind of an in your face kind of guy-but not in a bad way. He just likes to make people smile...and blush.
It'll take an interesting type of girl to catch Dominic's eye. He may talk to many girls, and flirt with them, but it takes more than the average smile to get him interested. He likes a challenge...So he'll probably go for someone that doesn't want anything to do with him.
History: His parents made him go live with his Aunt...for some reason, they thought he was dangerous, and couldn't be around his younger sister Autumn. He resents his parents for not wanting him, and his sister for being perfect. He constantly wonders what could have been so wrong about him that was dangerous...besides the fact of him being adopted in the first place.
Dominic's parents were government officials before they retired. (They are still in their 50's...but they have enough money to settle comfortably and pass a lot of inheritance to the next generations coming.)
Other: His parents not wanting him is sort of his weak spot. He doesn't like to talk about his family, and he tends to shut people out when they ask. Permanently. If he tells you something that personal...you'd better believe he cares about you substantially.

Personality: A man of several talents that deals with artistic skills, not just in drawing and painting but in musical talents as well. Best way to describe him is that 70% good guy and 30% not. The 70% of Calvin is him being a well-mannered gentleman. He acts quite formal, using titles such as “lady” and “ma’am”. The other 30%, well, what Calvin’s father would say, “Being a gentleman is not what all ladies love. You’ll have to be a little…well; the opposite of being gentleman or you won’t get a lot of love from the ladies!” Calvin tries to please the ladies by calling them things they like such as beautiful. It’s hard to tell whether Calvin is actually flirting or not. He’s a bit of a mystery.
Calvin is a calm and collected person. He’s rarely seen frustrated or angry. Calvin is also a laid-back person.
History: Calvin is the second oldest child in his family. He has two sisters (one is older and the one is younger than him) and a brother. Calvin and his siblings were raised to be ready for the Masquerade. His parents taught them how to play a few different instruments—for Calvin, he’s a pianist, violinist, and guitarist. You can say that his parents were pretty talented in the old days.
At the age of 5, his father started teaching him the dance steps for the male counterpart. They would practice every day and other stuff to get them ready for the big event. Sometimes, his parents would make him and his siblings pair up to dance to get the feel of dancing with a partner. It was successful; all four children soon became amazing dancers. They could even dance without a partner as well!
When the day of the Masquerade finally came, Calvin was ready and was looking forward to it very much. To him, the Masquerade was like a test to him to see if what he learned during the years he worked hard for actually paid off. He believed that if he found his future bride during the Masquerade, then he had pass the “exam”. Unlike other kids, Calvin holds no grudge against this event.

Personality: Simon's never been one to be in the "it" crowd, much to his families dismay. He stays silent most of the time but he does have quite a sense of humor! He is a great listener and more caring then most would suspect. He doesn't care a lot about what happens, he feels as if there is nothing to do but wait. He believes in destiny and when his time comes, it will come.
History: Simon grew up an only child. His parents naturally filthy rich spent a lot of time trying to form him to be a perfectly respected gentlemen. After about 15 years of trying they gave up and as long as he did his work and not get in trouble, they were unconcerned. But now that he's 17 and has the Masquerade, they've put a lot of pressure on him.

Personality: Cassius is your average moody teenager. He hates people and doesn't talk much at all. He can be quite rebellious and doesn't follow rules as he should. He fails to live up to the expectations of his family, so the ball is a form of punishment. Cas is not one to trust people that easily and he tends to keep to himself. He's incredibly intelligent, although he doesn't show it and despite how he acts, he's really quite shy and insecure.
History: Cassius comes from a fairly high class family and his parents are incredibly strict. They have never paid much attention to their son, which is the reason Cas is so rebellious. It's his way of getting his parents attention, although he would never admit it. He has no siblings, so he doesn't exactly know how the ball works, but his parents seem happy. Cas doesn't trust the ball that much and he thinks it's completely pointless. He has never intended on going, but his parents are forcing it on him.

Pietre is a sarcastic one, with a strange, almost english accent and has an apathetic look on the world, correction, on everything. You could say he hates everything except for music or anything that DOES pique his interest, like anything related to death or seems suspicious. No, he's not very organised or excited about anything. He has a strange approach to everything and strange thinking and strange, dark humour. Hmm, strange boy. This guy has many bad habits like smoking and drugs and stabbing things. Yes, stabbing things. But not all hope is lost! Here are some good qualities! He's un prejudiced and quite loyal. Quite. Unpredictable and somewhat friendly, he makes a joke out of everything and lives under a rock. Not literally! He's just out of it and doesn't pay much attention to anything. Pietre is unique and likes to do things which other people won't. He regrets many things in a humorous manner but never seems to get grumpy.
History: Pietre was raised by a kind, funny but lazy mother and father. He loved them a lot. Unfortunately, his mother died, from sickness. He's suspicious about her death because it was extremely sudden and quite appalling really. His father had spiralled down into a depressing depression which Pietre had to witness alone. But Pietre helped his father climb out of the depression, even though he had inherited his parent's laziness and found it exhausting to put a smile on his face everyday and help out his father by talking to him and smiling with him and remembering and just hanging out. After that his father's been well off, single, but he's sad still, but hides it. Pietre knows it but doesn't know how to help him. Slightly off the path and heading to lost, Pietre delves into an album of queer music singles he's heard and also dabbles in creating his own. Their relationship is alright, his father is fine as he can be.
Other: His thoughts on this Masquerade? He finds amusing, really but quite interesting. The thought of people dressing up in masks to flirt and woo people around their age. Ha. Originally he thought it was just a party with good food and bad music...

Personality: Zaina may seem all laughs and giggles in her pic, but she is anything but that. Zaina is quiet, not in a shy way though. More in a I-don't-wanna-be-here-so-I'm-not-gonna-talk-to-you-kinda-way. Zaina likes to stay out of the spotlight. Yes she's beautiful and has beautiful eyes, but it seems to her that is all anyone sees in her. And that is one of the reasons why everyone can't wait for her to go to the masquerade. Not that Zaina minds, if she falls in love then great! If not, well oh well. But Zaina doesn't want someone to like her for her looks. Though it may take some patience to really see who Zaina is, seeing she keeps to herself and doesn't have much to say, mainly because most the people that talk to her, try to take advantage of her and this makes her build an extra wall around to protect herself. Zaina is clever and smart and enjoys reading. She is kind, caring and loyal, and if she likes someone then she will be a friend and always be there when they need her. She is also very responsible and will always keep a promise. Zaina also likes the outdoors.
History: Zaina was born to a single mother, since her father died only a few months before she was born. Her parents were very poor but had one heirloom from Zaina's father side of the family. He also had lavender color eyes, it seemed to be a family thing, so before he passed, he told his wife to give this necklace to their child, (view spoiler). It was his great-great-grandmother's who was given it as a gift from her husband. Anyways when Zaina's mother first saw her she noticed her daughter's eyes and knew she had a beautiful child, so she named her Zaina, which meant beauty. Though Zaina's mother feared how she would care for Zaina, when they were practically dirt poor. But over the years they managed to get by. Zaina went to school, while her mother made money by doing laundry for the richer woman in town. Zaina helped everyday after school as much as she could. Though when Zaina turned 11 her mother became ill and soon Zaina had to care for both of them. The only thing she hopes to gain from the masquerade is someone who can help her care for her mother.

She had a small scar on her wrist. One day her hand slipped on the washing board and her wrist hit the corner of the board.
She lives in the poorest and most dangerous part of town. So she had to learn to defend herself if ever it came to that, it did a few times.

History: Born of a somewhat wealthy family, is the eldest brother of six kids, all girls except him. He is a very protective guy when it comes to his famly and mainly his sisters. His siters have taught him to be the best brother and man he can be.

It's nearly impossible to tell when he is lying to telling the truth. He can also be a tad bit sarcastic.
History:Ash grew up in an average family, money wasn't hard to come by or anything and everything seemed like a nice way to live. Though at home Ash saw his parents fight a lot, especially over the kids, because Ash's father was abusive and his mother was trying to protect him and his younger sister. One day, Ash's father got so upset over something, it was such a small thing Ash forgot what it was, that Ash's sister was beaten to death. It was said she died from a sickness and she was buried quietly with a small funeral so no one would see the body. This made Ash very reserved, quiet, and untrustworthy of people. It also altered his view about the masquerade, it makes him doubt if people really are who they say to be when their at the masquerade then change after everything is set and done for the marriage, like with his parents. Ky did his best to care for his mother and himself. Finally a few years ago, Ash's father died. It was almost like a blessing, though it's hard to say someone is 'happy' about a death. After that Ash and his mother were sent to live here. Ash and his mother are very independent and live happily now. Ash's mother is hoping, Ash will fall in love with someone at the masquerade, though Ash has his doubts.

Caroline can be extremely manipulative and knows exactly how much influence she has over people with her looks and speech. Overall, Caroline follows her own rules for life and doesn't care who sees.
History: Caroline grew up with her father and twin older brothers. Her mother died a month after she was born. She was always the baby of the family and her father spoiled her rotten. Her older brothers, Kale and Cameron, teased her endlessly and were always messing with her, but were also responsible and always looked out for her welbeing. The three siblings were very close and it was hard for her to see them get married and move away. Now it's just her and her father. He is completely supportive of the Masquerade and although Caroline has a few suspicions, she doesn't want to be responsible for making her father unhappy. She may be outspoken and sometimes rude, but she has the utmost respect for her father.

History: Growing up in an orphanage wasn't as bad as it sounds. No rules to follow? Meeting new kids with cool stories? And you're basically rich? Though when someone spikes her temper it’s hard to push it behind the mask, that she ironically will be wearing soon. She can be sweet, she can be kind, she can very well be caring—she is more than people think really— but she doesn’t much care for the government and when the times comes around, she’ll hide it. Katie is one to keep her opinions to herself though, she’s got a bit of a hidden personality. She’s… kind of a mystery.
History: Katie’s parents are… really nothing like her at all. Or, more likely, she’s nothing like them, and in their eyes has always been a bit of a disappointment, not that she much cares, but it has pushed her away from trusting people. It gives her the attitude she has today in a way. She can remember when she was younger—well, 13 was young right?— they had said straight out that she was doing the family wrong and that she needed to straighten up ‘or else’. Or else is one of those phrases that drives her completely insane anymore, because no one ever means anything by it! So storming off to her room she kept her mouth shut and most her opinions bottled up with a sweet smile that has never meant anything more to her than hidden feelings.

Personality: Saffron is a very easy-going and accepting person. She doesn't care what anyone thinks about her yet is a good...very good listener and will usually pinpoint the conversation around you if you can. Saffron doesn't really care who she's talking to or what they look like, just that they can accept her how she is. Calm is one of her best attributes and she smiles very easily and can crack a joke or be just as sarcastic as most of the children here.
History: She grew up in a house with three other siblings, two of them older and married from the Masquerade. The other one disappeared, so she had a deep-seeded fear of disappearing herself. She was closest with Juliette, the one who disappeared, and becomes quite sad when she is brought up with anyone, even her own family. Did I menton she is legally blind? Yes, Saffron got a disease when she was 13 years old that took away her sight completely. Luckily, she was able to learn what things look like and colors back then, and she's always doing excersize in her head to be able to remember what they look like besides the shapes she's always seeing. Yes, she doesn't see complete blackness, but has enough sight to be able to tell if there's something in front of her or not, no color, no definite outline, just something black moving in front of her.

Personality: Daniel is shy. He doesn't spend much time with others and prefers books to the company of other people. Although he will talk if you engage coversation with him, he's a very awkward converser and is almost always left fumbling for words. He's very kind towards people and does his best to try and be a good person but his intellectual mind often interfers with his heart and moral concience. Although he would like to be, he isn't brave at all. He's the kind of guy that would slowly vanish at the sight of trouble and he hates confruntation. He can't stand disagreements or fighting.
History: Daniel was raised with three younger sisters and two older brothers. He was never the special child and was often pushed ot hte side by his family. Having never been paid any special attention in his life he is used to being alone and has come to the conclusion that he will forever be alone until the day he 'vanishes'. He has many theories about the 'vanishing' and he is rather curious about it.

Personality: Dean has a very quiet personality, he finds it hard to talk to girls, especially the pretty ones. And when he does he’s shy. It’s hard for him in more ways than one; he can’t come up with clever things to say, for one, and he doesn’t even want to think about all the other flaws that he could add. Much to many. So he thinks anyway, he’s truly a very, very sweet guy. Darling to the core, plus he’s quite attractive (*winks*). Often he finds himself alone, but he’s been trying to break out of it, for the Masquerade that is… now he can only hope.
History: As a child Dean was born with a… bit of a disability. Luckily however it wasn’t all completely bad. He was in fact born deaf, and parents were devastated, especially because he couldn’t… well he hear their voices. He’d never be able to! But to their complete joy he grew into a bit of hearing. He wasn’t all deaf, he just had a bit of a hard time hearing now. For years he would watch his parents talk until suddenly he heard a bit of… of something.
At first it had frightened him, sure, it would any kid, but after he just liked to smile at it. He’d always been quiet as a child, he only knew a few words that had managed to stick into his head, because of his disability he developed a good eye for reading lips. That’s how he learned at first. But as he grew so did his hearing, a complete and utter miracle it was. His sister and him had talked nearly all night the day he had finally spoke up. She was a year younger than him but he didn’t much mind. She seemed to watch out for him not the other way around, and he inwardly scolds himself for it.
Today he doesn’t hear as well as others but he can in fact hear.

Personality: Selene is a very nice and kind person.She's almost like a pixie she's beautiful and fun,and easy to like.She's funny,kind and accepts everyone.She likes to look at the bright side of things and gets a bit upset when people are mean.But if you tick her off which is very hard to do she could be fierce and rude.She can't hide her emotions well and you could tell how she's feeling by looking into her eyes and she;s a horrible liar.
History:Selene looks nothing like her parents and this is the problem.They hate how people think she;s adopted and often get into arguments about this with other people.Selene was blessed with good lucks but also with a nice personality.This causes her to be upset that her parents have problems with others because of her.She hopes to find true love at the masquerade and be happy like her parents were before she was born.She doesn't care on looks or anything superficial but personality.If you're nice and treat her right she'll like you.

Personality: She is very witty. She loves adventures and dreams that one day she will fall in love although these thoughts are pushed to the back of her mind because she see's herself as no great importance. She loves a challenge and is easily liked although she doesn't actually realize this. She loves to talk to knew people and once her mind has been made up that she doesn't trust you then there is no changing her mind.
History: She used to live with her parents but has been sent away to live at a private boarding school by her own choice after her parents separated. Elle has her suspicions that her father had an affair and isn't sure whether the woman who raised her is her actual mother. Her ex-boyfriend shattered her confidence by constantly flirting with other girls also she was pressured by her family to go to the Masquerade and she just wants the night to be over and done with. Her parents expect her to go to Law school but she has different dreams, she wants to escape the controlling grasp of her parents and enjoys any time she gets away from them. She one day would like to become an actress, although her parents think she has her head stuck in the clouds; they want her to go to law school and 'reach her potential'.
