They've sold the house here and agreed on a house there. It's just the business of waiting for officialdom to get its finger out! We hope they'll be settled there before the school summer holidays to give littlies chance to make friends before the break.

Lots. Hull to Bristol.Like Hull to Mull whiich we've just done. The rhyming destination game. Goole to Poole. :)
Before I moved to Scotland if I had to travel over an hour to get somewhere it wasn't worth going unless you stopped overnight. An hour and a half? Well that's a weekend break at least.
I should have finished part two of my very short auto biography soon. Part one was about ages 0 to 20 and was frankly a bit dull apart from the incident with the pineapple. Part two isn't much better but I have lied quite a lot.

Patti (Stir Crazy) wrote: "Aw that's just a nice jaunt! You Brits don't know from long journeys. :)"Ahem!
Yeah okay. I over generalised a bit there.Apart from Vic, you Brits don't know from long journeys. ;)
Just emailed you my notes, Ms Comley.
Simon, I'm happy to beta read your bio, if you like.
Going to read through a short story Shaun sent me ages ago now.
First, I'm unplugging my phone!
Have you exaggerated the size of your pineapple then Simon?Just had a piece from Vic too - this is going to be so good!
*is feeling a little insecure about the poems she submitted looking around at all the BIG NAMES popping up all around*
Excellent. I'll put the book in my signature on Kindleboards, hopefully it'll get some sales over in the States. :-)

Not Guilty m'lud.
PS I have been camping - & I had mentioned it to Patti before I went that I wouldn't be around as I wouldn't have access to internet. Have had a good rest, plenty of fresh air, walking, birdwatching and sightseeing. Only 73 photos though. & not much reading at all.
Yeah I'm such a dope Janet. Too many groupites all went off on holiday at the same time. Not fair really. I'd like a holiday. :(
A Splendid Salmagundi - I like the proposed title. I'll contribute a short story if you want one from me.Best wishes, Stephen Livingston.
Eurgh. I want a holiday too. London with loads of friends doesn't count. You come back more exhausted than you left!
Hi all. I write mostly crime/mystery/thriller, occasionally horror, and I'd love to submit something if that sounds like it would be up your collective street!
Oh I love how much enthusiasm this is generating!Ignite is the go-to girl. Send her a message with info about what you'd like to contribute.

Yes please Stephen. We have more authors in the group than we did last year!
Thanks to David and Gavin too. I've sent you all a pm with my email address. When you're ready send it as a word document (attachment). Thanks to you all. What a bumper fun book this will be!
I've just had a story sent to me by Andrew Lawston too and I'm on a promise from Cornelius. What a day!
David wrote: "Can I join your gang, please? I loved the last Gallimaufry!"And hugs n kisses for the cover designer!!!(worth a try, no?)
Fantastic title and by the look of the contributors this looks like it's bound to be a phenomenal success. If I can be of any help just shout. The very best of luck to everyone involved.
