They aren't as difficult to write as you think.

But still no clear idea on the matter :(

Right, I'll get my alliterative head on now...

I think the Spice of Life is good. I just think it doesn't exactly role off the tongue.
How about A Mixed Bag of Goodies.
Or just a mixed bag.
Lucky Dip
Although that sounds a bit... dodgy unless that is just me that sees the innuendo in that.

A mixed bag or lucky dip might imply some downloaders will get rubbish!!

"A gaggle of goodreads?"
A mixed bag of short stories and poems buy the goodreads authors.

It's meant to be for us, not for others to understand so as long as we get it, who cares?

Looking forward to reading everyone's entries in the book!

I'd say stick with A Splendid Salmagundi. What if people don't know what the title means. If they've got anything about them, they're more likely to look to find out.
If they haven't got the get up and go to check the book out, you're probably going to have to title it something like 'A long book with porn on pages 14, 15, and 84' to save them having to wade through the long words to find the bits they want :-))

Sales have never, ever been a goal for us. It's our book, our love and if we only got the sales from each member of our group, I think we'd be chuffed.
This book is shamelessly selfish.

You do make me smile, young man. :)
Although, I'd be very surprised if no one hasn't used it already.
For what it's worth, I agree with Darren. Let's not change the title simply to cater to those who want life fed to them at a second grade level. Or year three. Or primary four.
International schools are fun. So many terms to know...
Anyway. That's my two pence. Cents. Kopeks. Whatever.

Cheers
MTM

The name isn't set in stone yet - keep suggesting if you have any more ideas.

I like the original suggestion as it follows on with the previous book title.

Well I don't mind especially. I am not over fond of Splendid Salmagundi but it isn't up to me so will go with the majority.

The name isn't set in stone yet..."
That's the equivalent of pulling the pin out of the grenade, throwing it and running in the opposite direction. ;)

Exactly! \0/

But it ain't about other people!
