Adding Personal Bookshelf Books to Group Books

I'm a relatively new member and have set up a new group (Old Travel Books). I thought I had added nine books to the Group, but when I got back to it they were gone. I have lots of travel books on my "travel" shelf but rather than add them one by one, is there some way to access the book information from my shelf and transfer them to the group? The group "add books" function seems to require directly inputting the title, author, etc., for each single book. Surely there must be a better way!
