Favorite Reads - May 2012

Well, here we are- another month-end. I've been in a slump this month again. I've only finished one book- Deadly Captive. And I'm currently reading another one Mouth to Mouth. I really liked Deadly Captive. There was a twist to it. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone because there are a few scenarios that aren't for everyone.

Anyway, what was your fav and your least fav?

My favorite read this month was . I love this series and this one was absolutely fantastic. The world building is amazing and I love Kate and Curran.
My least favorite was . I only gave it 2 1/2 stars. It just wasn't very well done. The world building was poor and I didn't really like the characters. Just okay.

I haven't read any romances this month, have spent all of May re-reading Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, all of which get 5 Stars from me, hands down, they are always a favorite for me :D

I've been in a slump too! Of the few I read Nalini Singh's stands out as the best. The worst was Kim Harrison's , I didn't even finish it.

There were only two 5 stars reads for me in May.
a great end to the story arc .
a great start for the series , but the next 2 ,magic study and fire study weren't as good.

I didn't read as much this month as I normally do. I think part of it is because I am reading which is so lonnnnnggg and I have to take breaks from it. Also I didn't read for the whole week I spent with my kids doing college stuff etc. Then I tried to play catch up with my challenges lol. No it's not mean to be happy and know that you aren't alone with the reading slump thing LOL

Here are my choices for best reads for May! Best audio remains the In Death series, but the Pink Carnation narration is getting better and better as the narrator gets to know the characters.
