1000 words really isn't that bad. It's just the initial shock has to wear off of, "HOLY CRAP! THAT'S A LOT!" Then you get to work, and you realize it's not that much. *shrugs*

Captain...I have no doubt that you too will be a professional writer one day. Writing away in the wee hours of the morning, with tons of deadlines to keep you busy.

As to setting more than 1,000 words a day. I agree with you. I could set it higher. But {yes, I have But-face} I also write "stuff" for several magazines and newspapers, and that "does" take away from my novel writing. Yet, there is No Way that I am complaining. I LOVES my job!

Oh, and my soul mate insists that I cook his meals and do laundry...he "hates" going to work commando ;]

uh, I believe that there are very few men who CAN do that, let alone WILL do that. Seeing as most people have to go outside, get in there car, and drive to a some sort of building (either office or store) to go to work, I don't believe that anybody could pull it off without being arrested for indecent exposure.
