Hi everybody! Sorry, I know I've been gone for a while, I've got a lot going on. Today (this afternoon) is my audition for that creative arts school I was telling you about, and I've been working hard all week on my portfolio! And, you know, planning important things like what to wear. You know what sucks? I won't find out if I got in or not UNTIL APRIL!!!!!!!!Anyway, I'm ranting. I've got to go finish up my portfolio (yes, I'm skipping school) but I'll let you all know how it went later!

Hey guys! Sorry, know I've been behind lately, but I promise I'll be on much more now. It's been kind of a hectic week!I think the audition went well. She skimmed my portfolio and didn't even read my writing, but she did seem like she liked my personality! And she listened to me a monologue. It WAS only a ten minute long audition.
I should probably explain about that, because you're probably all going, "Wait- she didn't read your writing?!?!? And what does a monologue have to do with writing?"
Well, the way it would work is that this school goes from 7th-12th grade. There are normal classes, and then they have classes called "Conservatories", which is when they incorporate things like creative writing.
Unfortunately, Creative Writing is only offered for high school. So I tried out for a conservatory titled "Integrated Arts", which is writing, art, drama, voice, and production and design.
So it's not perfect (yet) but it's much better than my current school, which doesn't incorporate creative writing AT ALL.
I'm really hoping I get in. But even if I do, I may not be going there. Why, you ask? It sounds perfect!

Here's Mom's point of view on EVERYTHING concerning this school.
Money: Not a problem. Tuition is about $14,000 LESS than my current school.
Conservatory: Unmm, cool. She doesn't really get the whole HAPPINESS=WRITING thing.
Academics: BEEP! BEEP! ERROR! ERROR! Apparently, she doesn't consider them up to par with my current school. So she won't let me go EVEN IF I MAKE IT unless she's SURE their academics are just as good as my current schools.
*sigh* Well, I guess we'll just see how it goes.
********UPDATE************** I am going to do the March Write-A-Thon as well as my daily word count, so check in each day to see how I'm doing and what's going on! My monthly goal is 25k! I know it's a lot, but let's see what I can do! Oh, BTW, Kenzie is my Write-A-Thon buddy. YAY KENZIE!
YAY! *clap* I'm doing it too just not an exact words...though I can't wait to see how much I get done

What with the Write-A-Thon starting tomorrow, an over one thousand word count and a story past 10k, things are looking great!
