Hannah (hannahtx) | 6 comments I love the Kindle text-to-speech feature and have noticed some really quirky pronounciations of some words... this is intended to be a fun list of quirky/funny misprounounced words from text-to-speech on your kindle.

So to start off...

Tired = ty-red
Uh-uhn = unnilhexium
C'mon = see Monday
Khaki = cocky

You get the idea...

Patricia Burroughs (pooks) "Yes, miss." = "Yes, Mississippi."

Cyndi Couch (cynditc) | 3 comments My favorite so far are ...

"Patio" = "Potty-o"
"C'mon" = "See Monday"

Helen Wierd, I haven't used it, looks like it doesn't like slang. I like watching sub-titles on live tv for the noncense they come out with.

Clare K. R. (clare-dragonfly) It consistently pronounces "tears," like the water that comes out of your eyes, like "tears," like the character is ripping something.

I never knew of this amazingness. I am definitely going to start using the text to speech more.

Karen M Love the way the name Max becomes "maximum" and Saint abbreviated to St. is "street".
