Clifton Toliver | 1 comments I got a message in my inbox to vote on next months book to read. When I clicked on the link to vote I was taken to a page to sign up for Facebook. I tried to send a private message to Jonathan asking why and was directed to Facebook as well. Why does a member now have to use Facebook to vote in polls and send messages to moderators? What are you supposed to do if you have no interest in joining or being a member of Facebook? I have no interest in that at all. Anyone else have a problem with this restriction?

Jonathan Terrington (thewritestuff) | 525 comments I'm already signed up to Facebook - could it be the fact that I put a wrong link in there that messed everything up? Try again and if not get back to me by posting in this thread thanks.

J.D. Hallowell | 75 comments You don't have to sign up for Facebook - but the login screen now shows a HUGE Sign In With Facebook button over the login fields, and if you are clicking over from e-mail, it may be taking you to the sign up screen. Don't hit the Facebook button, either just type your usual login information in the sign-in fields under the Sign In With Facebook button, or, if you are on the "sign up" screen instead of the "sign in" one, click on the little beige "sign in" button in the upper right corner and do the same.
