I know crazy people! At least we can catch up cause they can't finish until they read a 2013 book!
You're just jealous.
By the time it is 2013 I will only have one book to go and of course the bonus book. How many do you think you will still have to go by then? :P
oh and BTW I finished Rising Storm for task 1
Total finished tasks: 8 *evil grin*

Finished no.20: 2/30Just one question Barbara - how much consideration have you given the term advanced reading copy?
*evil grin*
Oooooh, didn't think of that. Never read an advanced reading copy before, wouldn't know how to get my hands on one. But if you are willing to help me, I am willing to bribe you :D Please, yes??????
Lol, well if the bribe is good enough, and I happen to have an arc in print, I might just send it to you. After I read it :DSadly, almost all my arc's are eBooks, most are protected by DRM (which means you can't read it on anything but my Kindle) and even if they're not, I play by the rules and do not give them to other people, except for review purposes.
Bribes are negotiable, so naming a price is the first step :)
Spoilsport! No fun in playing by the rules :(
If all I have to do is write a review, all I need is an arc and a place to post my review and then a review is easily written :) And a challenge even more easily won :D

Ok, if that is how the game is played, I will get my own arc. I am sure I am smart enough to figure out how to get my hands on one! And I won't be sharing either!
No one can beat me! *evil grin*

Yeah I have my eye set on an arc too. Even though I am the world worst blogger (as in I never bother to actually blog) my love for obscure biographies is sure to get me an arc of some kind!
I saw a December one the other day but that's still not good enough.
The first book with a 2013 publishing dating that offers an ARC is probably going to be some random and very dull book and the publisher is going to wonder why it is getting a huge influx of requests from South Africa!

Read The Affair of the 39 Cufflinks for Task 15.
2/30
If anybody still needs titles with 5 vowels, I found these:
To My Daughter in France
The Various Haunts of Men
A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian
I enjoyed all of them previuosly.

You forgot Claudia.
She just updates in her list and doesn't post a new message. So she has finished 3 books.

Well I think it is up to you what you want to do, because in the first post Lu gives you the option to update in your list or update in messages. I just thought I mentioned it because your name wasn't in the points scoreboard and you are participating :)
I have a little update to make.
I finished Northanger Abbey By Jane Austen, Reckless by Amanda Quick, Amaryllis by Jayne Castle, and The Chocolate Cat caper by Joanna Carl.
That means I have completed tasks 3,5,12 and 23.
Total completed tasks 12.

What did you think? I read it a while ago and loved it. It just stays with you. I read quite a bit of WW2 stuff.

I'm really behind now! But I guess it is to be expected between moving house and being away at the arts festival!

I was wondering where you were. Glad you're back! You are not that far behind. You can catch up in no time :)
Yeah I had a frantic few weeks! And now I have such bad flu i feel like my head is going to explode, not the best conditions for readings. Just be thankful it's summer in Holland!
