Merging two different accounts - help/advice needed please

So I bought the Gen 1 nook - the BW one with e-ink. Then, as a treat to myself after losing 25 pounds, I splurged and bought the Nook Color 6 months later.

I thought it would be a good idea to have 2 different accounts for each Nook, so I have 2 separate e-mails and two diff B&N accounts.

I far prefer my Nook Color, esp reading at night in the dark, and would like to transfer all the books I bought for the Gen1Nook to the Nook Color. Can I just update the email and they will all transfer? How does that work with Adobe, as well? Or will I lose the books? Do I move the gift card credits too?

Would love some advice please.

I tried to merge two of my own accounts with my own information on them where I used the same credit card. They said they couldn't do it.

I don't think you can merge B&N accounts, but, you can call customer support and ask. Here's a post about how to share B&N ebooks from two separate accounts.

I called customer service and they switched it for me. Didn't replace my NOOK Color power cord, but my books are all transfered. Yay!
