Yeah, i don't really want to watch that movie for that exact reason. I will be really depressed if one of the main characters die. i have a feeling the guy wont make it....(No spoilers, though.)

-Okay i was just wondering if anyone knows anything about the Blue Bloods series and if it is good. (A summary would be good, but no spoilers (I am very strict on giving spoilers away :))

-Has anybody read The Obernewtyn Chronicles? It is a really long series and i was wondering if it was worth it. I am a fairly quick reader, but i'm not that quick! :)

-The Maximum Ride series has a manga series, too. Is it following the same storyline as the books? And Is it as good as the novels, (I have book 2,3 and 4. They are really hard to find, too!)

-James Patterson has another series called the 'Daniel X series' or something like that It is not as popular as the Maximum Ride series and i really wanted to know if it is worth buying.

-Anyone read any Garth Nix books? Is is similar to the Percy Jackson series? Is it any good.

i have read the first few blue bloods series and it the first 4 books are excellent but the 5th one isn't quite as good. I'm not very good and explaining books without giving any spoilers so i won't say anything more.

i read the first book in blue bloods series and its bad. i gave it 2 stars. DONT READ IT!! DONT ITS CRAP. i want to care a little with characters or the story but i can't it was too shitty and so-so. too many perfect-goddess face like- characters. the romance is boring with boring and plain characters. the plot isnt exiciting or special.

i havent read garth nix books but i found everyone loves sabriel (abhorsen trilogy). i wanna read sabriel but the i dont like the indonesian cover edition

Your referring to Melissa de la Cruz books? If so, I read them all and thought they were a good series of books. I'm waiting for the next one to come out.

I'm currently reading Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schreiber, its a light YA reading which i found quite entertaining, so i'm definitely recommend this series for your collection.
Also i agree that you should read Evernight by Claudia Grey and The Darkest Powers series by Kelley Armstrong, if you haven't read them already. Especially the Darkest Powers series, they are AMAZING! I'm obsessed with the series!

I don't mind :) That is why the list is there, it can serve two purposes. :)

I have already read the Vampire Kisses series and the Evernight series (They are not on the list because i read them at the start of the year :) and the darkest powers series is high on my to-read list!

Yes The Darkest Powers series is really good by Kelley Armstrong. She alson has another series so far only 2 books.. I dont really remember the name of the series but the 1st book is called The Gathering and the 2nd is called The Calling. These are really good. They are suppose to connect to the Darkest Powers series..

I totally agree with you Christy, The Darkest Powers is EXCELLENT!! (pardon me for the caps, i do have mention that i'm obssessed with the series ^^)
Kelley Armstrong is currently writing a sequel for the series, its another trilogy called The Darkness Rising, two books of the series The Gathering and The Calling are already out but i still haven't read them yet, i'm waiting for the third book The Rising to come out next year. Rumor has it that The Darkest Powers characters will make another appearance in the third book YIPPEE!! *happy dance* ^0^

Alexia : both of the series are totally worth buy, i'm still hunting for The Darkest Powers short stories, the book called Darkest Powers Bonus Pack but i can't find it here.

Really really love the chemistry between the two.
Can't wait for their story in the third book, I'm dying to read their names on the pages again. Its a real torture to have to wait for a year,but at least we'll be able to read about them again. Hope she gives more romantic moments for the couple =)

Christy : I've read the first book of House of Night, unfortunately I'm not fond of it... I do hope Morganville Vampire is better, and based on how everybody seems to recommend this one, I think I'm not going to be disappointed =)

You should DEFINITELY read the Levels series.

It's set in a boarding school where some paranomral stuff is going on, but it's not vampires. The heroine is as much like Rose as anybody else I've read and the heroes are SUPER HOT

YESSS!!!!! I can't get it in Australia! and i tried ordering it at a bookstore!! On the first week the lady said that it'd come in one week. We didn't get it. We went back and asked ans she said "What? i said 5-6 weeks!" So, we waited a few weeks an on the 7 week we went back and she said 'let me just contact the publisher! i'll ring back in a second...." she didn't ring back for a week!!!!! So we cancelled the order. now we are ordering it off of bookdepositry.com because it is HALF PRICE and comes in 7-10 days!!!!! (And it works!!)

READ BLUEBLOODS OR HOUSE OF NIGHT. there both really good! if ur looking for similar to vampire academy, id check out blue bloods. its very similar, but also very different (lol). theres a lot of mystery to it, so u wont b able to stop reading it until uve finished the whole series! and house of night is also really good!

The House on Night books are okay,but they go on FOR EVER.... I gave up after book 8 or 9.

The Southern Vampire (Sookie Stackhouse) Series are good too, but if you are a fan of True Blood on HBO you should know that the books are completely different then the show

The Lord of the Rings books are awesome, but long

Have you read any of the Orson Scott Card books (Enders Game ). They are good.
