SOLVED. Long distance relationship YA story. [s]

I believe it was YA story about this girl whose boyfriend was coming back home and they had always talked through email and phone?? Some around that and he was coming back and she gained weight and it had been a couple of years since they've seen each other so she wasn't sure he'll still like her.

Its kind of vague but thats all I really remember :(

What year did you read this, and was it old or new at that time? What country is it set in? How old are the protagonists, 15, 18, 22? Are they in high school, college, army, etc.

I can't remember much but I'm assuming its 2012 or before that. I'm thinking they were in their teens and the guy was the one that was overseas and was coming back home. All I remember was what I said above- that she gained weight and wasn't sure if he'll still like her--either they were in a relationship or that she liked him.

I've looked at the long distance relationship list and anything with email, online or related and none of the lists have the book in it. Hoping and praying someone sees this and knows!

Do you remember why he was overseas (was he born there/not an American, did he have a parent in the military...)? Anything about where overseas he was (China, Australia, England)? Anything about how they met (chat room, online gaming, they knew each other before he left)? Ages of the two people (high school, college, twenty-something)?

I am not sure why he was overseas or which country. I believe they were highschool-college maybe.
