you can give me the cover that you scanned and url of the book

I'd do this m'self, but last time i checked, i couldn't do this, i can only edit metadata.
Thanks,

After some searching I think this is the correct edition for the cover so I added it :)

Have you applied to be a librarian?
Have you applied to be a librarian?

Yep, that's the one, thanks.

Have you applied to be a librarian?"
Ummm, hadn't even thought about it nor looked into the process, but i'll consider it, thanks.

Title: The Man of My Dreams
Author: Gladys Quintal
ASIN: B005P2DQJ0
ISBN: 9781466415089
Thank You
Gladys

Alternate cover editions are created instead
Edit: Alternate cover editions added here

Also there is no way to change the default edition - that is the one shelved / rated most

Thank you,
Aaron

The cover you posted in your profile looks to be the same as the one on the paperback

ISBN in system: 1929462697
ISBN in book: 1929462xx
I've uploaded scan of cover to my other pics.
(I assume once it's added, I can remove it from my section?)

You can delete t from your photos now. :)

Yeah, I know the xx isn't a valid ISBN, but that is what is listed on the indicia page. (I'm guessing it was more of a placeholder, that the company forgot to update when they exported for printing.)
They don't have any barcode on their books.

Hmmm... odd. must have been a different printing? (i've got 3rd printing)

Thanks,
Aaron

A couple of books in my own tbr list did not have covers. So I went to the individual publishers websites and copied the picture of the covers for those particular books (isbn #'s matched). So then I pasted those covers to my computer and desktop and then edited the books GR page and uploaded the cover. It seems to have worked OK. Did I do that right or did I miss something?
Do I now have to keep those images on my computer?

Nope you do not have to keep them on your computer. And yes you did it correctly. Just a warning: the only places we can take data from is publishers, even if they sell their own books (You did this correctly. It's more of a note than anything.)

I have low vision issues so I require either large print editions or audiobooks. I find a lot of those lacking in the goodreads library. Many have been added but a whole bunch just in my personal to read collection don't have covers yet. Did they have covers that were attributed to Amazon and they were stripped away?

Unfortunately, many of them probably did.

Agreed.
Agreed.

Oh I'm glad I found this, because I was going to ask the same thing - I did exactly as Sheila did yesterday, saving the files into my own computer and then uploading them directly from there.
