Poison Study question

Its my favourite because it has Yelena, Valek, Ari and Janco all in one place, all together, all the time! winning combination!

I liked Poison Study well enough. But not necessarily better than Fire Study. I just think the conceptual ideas in the first book were different and something many readers hadn't read about before. Like for instance I had only heard about food tasters and what not through history programs for royalty and what not. Never came acrossed it in a book til now. Nor a more militeryesque run government either. Outside of Nazi Germany for a time but never in a fantasy world. So the ideas were fresher if not a bit scattered.

Omg where should i began. I'm still reading the "Magic study" but i think the first books r always the best ones so yeah and to be honest i had never come across such an amazing character as Valek so i think that sort of made me fall in love with the guy, He's just super cool and always in action, a REAL MAN;p that's y i LOVE HIM;)

For Valek in true words is a poisner, he has gotten under our skin, invaded our blood and stole our hearts, A man who has poisoned us all with his CHARM!

To be honest I don't think I even finished fire study. I absolutely loved and I mean LOVED the first book. The second was rather slow but it was still amazing and then on the third one, it lost me.

The first book was so incredible and I love love love Valek.

Where was he in the second book? Appeared halfway through - that made me mad.

I'm halfway through the third one (which I stopped reading last month) because again WHERE IS VALEK

I can't. The first book was so original and different and great, the rest are a bit meh

Yeah I noticed that with myself too. I absolutely love Poison Study then when I read Magic Study it was only in some places that bored me otherwise I enjoyed it :))
I think it was just the last book that I didn't enjoy that much. Coz at times I just couldn't wait to finish it and sometimes I didn't want to pick it up but I enjoyed the ending of the book.

And this isn't just with me, my friends said the same thing, but I still love the series and the characters :))

I thought poison study was the best because in the next two books I didn't like Yelena as much because in seemed like she was becoming too... too Amazing. I don't really like it all that much when the heroine is amazingly unique and wonderful, but at the end of the third I liked her again.
What I think is really the reason why I for one liked the first book best is that I always prefer the lead up to romance to the actual in a relationship bit.
