Claimed by the Sea
My eyes fill with swollen tears
Falling to the wet sand
Feet stumbling, making a path
Running away from my endless fears

Through this sheet of grief

Caution: use sparingly, as to not cause the dreaded “Writer’s diarrhea.”
Loved the poem Elaine, don't know if you really need the tonic, but keep it around just in case :)

Yep, I knew that one was a typo because I actually hand wrote the essay and then typed it up so that I could get the word count, so all I had to do was look at the original to see. :)

Did you just do that on purpose? Had instead of hate? Most my trouble with reading my writing is misspells. Especially when I was younger. lol!
