Bill Blume I'm curious about THE HUNT and have read the opening pages. It looks interesting, but I'm puzzled by one major question: Does Fukuda ever explain why the main character needs to blend into the vampire society as opposed to just hiding out in the wild or someplace these vampires don't want to live?

Just at a glance, I don't see what possible benefit there could be to the main character to go to a school full of vampires who want him for dinner. Even within the first few pages this strikes me as a potentially major plot hole, and if he doesn't explain that, then I don't want to spend my money to get this book.

Bill Blume I was fortunate enough to get a direct reply from someone about this. In short, the answer appears to be, "No."

As this might be a question others might have, I'll leave this thread posted.

Gabby I read it and it DOES explain. It's a good book, i suggest you read it.

Charlie Don't even try reading this book it is officially rubbish its a mix of the hunger games and twilight when i finished reading it I literally threw it across the room so yea

Tracy It TOTALLY explains it.

Lauren so many plot holes in this book; hard to recommend it.

Patricia Kaniasty I loved it. Couldn't put it down. It was interesting that humans were the minority. Can't wait to read book 2.
