Courtney trailed around the edge of the pool. She was thinking of their next strategy. The human boy told them where to go. At a bar called "Party Bar," but they don't now how to approach it yet.

"Hi" said Taylah running a brush through her wet hair as she emerged from the change rooms

Courtney glanced at the sound of a voice. She saw a girl. "Hey. What are you doing here?"

"the shower in my dorm is broken" she said

"Ah..." Courtney nodded thoughtfully. "The door was locked when I came in. I thought I was the only one to broke in." she smiled at her. "This place is boring."

"Tell me about it, the only half interesting thing here is the people we get all sorts" she sat on the bleachers "First year here?"

"Uh-huh," Courtney said. "I'm Courtney. You are?"

"Taylah, how long have you been here?"

"Just this week." Courtney said. "I'm with Tristan and unfortunately, my friend Shana also came. You?"

"I've been here for a year and came totally alone"

"Oh?" she tilted her head. "How did you get here?"

"What did you do to get here?" Courtney asked. "If you don't mind..."

"Murder." she smirked. "Who did you try to kill?"

"Someone who suppose to die." Courtney said. "Why'd you try it?"

She shrugged "Not the first time i've done it, just the first time i got caught" she said twisted her electronic-shocker bracelet around her wrist

She laughed. "Cool. I have mine too." she showed hers. "We're dangerous people."

"I know right." Courtney agreed. "Have you seen the others?"

Courtney laughed. "Weird people. Oh! I'll introduce you to Shana and Tristan. Though not at the same time. They have...issues." she rolled her eyes.

"Hahaha sure, i like you, we should be friends"

"That thing isn't asked. It just comes." she grinned at her. "Who do you want to meet first? Shana the hopeless romantic or Tristan the snob?"

Sophie walked distractedly into the room. Her flip flops squished as she walked. She looked up, "Oh... sorry. I thought no one was in here. I don't mean to interrupt." she said staring at the two girls in front of her.

"no problem darls" said Taylah

Sophie grinned and her eyes squinted with it. She was bad at this. Very bad. Plus she naturally didn't make friends that easily. That made it even more difficult for her. "I'm Sophie by the way." she walked over to them smiling. A little too perky for her normal behavior. But they didn't know her so they could not tell.

"What's your name?" she asked both innocently and enthusiastically.

This is going to be difficult. she thought as she reached out her hand. Very difficult to control. He knows this! So why did he push her to this point.
It is hard to always be on guard but now with this forewarning maybe she won't slip up like she did at the abandoned church with Tristan and Courtney. Of course she didn't remember what she said but she knew she had said something. Their reactions showed it.

Sophie's stomach dropped but she smiled and took her hand.

"Oh... I don't know why I ever ask that question here anymore. It is always an awkward conversation." she smiled back. "This one h-This one guy was like, 'I raped 8 women and on my ninth try I got caught.' I can assure you that was the end of the conversation, ahahaha."

"But yours isn't that bad." she babbled.
