Courtney watched them. She looked at the girl. "We met earlier, haven't we?"

"Sort of... yeah" she said. "Oh yeah." she said thinking.

"Church." Courtney shrugged and grinned at her.

Courtney looked at Taylah. "Hey, what's the verdict? Who do you want to meet? I'll summon them. Tristan or Shana?"

"Hmmm an other girl would be nice so probes Shana" she said

"Okie dokie." Courtney said and pulled her phone. "Yow, Shanabels, get out your cave and come here at the school pool." she end the conversation. "We should have a pool party."

Shana walked towards the pool. Courtney called her telling her to meet her there even though she doesn't know why. That girl is so weird.

Tay laughed "we should that would be soo cool"

Courtney nodded. "Uh-huh. But I still don't know everyone. Maybe next time."

Shana entered the School's Pool and looked around. She spotted Courtney talking with a girl. Always the friendly one. She approached them. "Courts."

"Shana!" Courtney called and hugged her. "You were gone again."

"That's because you set me up with Tristan." I scowled at her.

"Sorry," she grinned. "Trying to be a bridge. Hey, this is Taylah. She's also from Sword and Cross. Taylah, this is Shana."

Shana nodded seriously at the girl. "Hi. I'm Shana."

"Hey, im Taylah" she said smiling "and this is Sophie" she said pointing to the other girl

Shana nodded and looked back at Courtney who raised her hands. "I just want you to be more sociable. You can't just bury yourself on your room." she clapped. "Oh! I'll call Tristan."

Shana frowned. "I'll go then,"

"Your at a new school, you should meet new people" she said to Shana

Courtney beamed at Shana. "See...I told you."

Shana rolled her eyes and smiled timidly at Taylah. "Thanks but...I really don't think he'll appreciate it if he sees me."

Shana shrugged helplessly. "We have...problems."

Courtney continue walking at the pool's edge nonstop. She's been doing that over and over again for no apparent reason aside that she's bored.

"What sort of problems?" she asked

Shana sighed. "It's...not my story to tell. It's his. He hates me because of why I chose to be like this."

"Oh! He's here." Courtney suddenly announced traipsing towards the door and pulling it open facing Tristan.

"Courtney, I think you were looking for me? I can feel it." he said.

"I wasn't." Courtney said.

He noticed someone was also inside. He saw Shana and another girl.

"Hey" she said to the boy standing in the door way. He was really good looking

Tristan glanced first at Shana who was not looking at him then at the girl. "Hey, I'm Tristan."

"Taylah" she said smiling

Courtney shrugged and went towards Shana who has trying to be invincible. "Do you want to talk with him?"

Shana shook her head.

Tristan smiled back. "You friends with Courtney?"

"Yer we just met" she said "You been here long?"

Courtney punched her playfully in the arm. "Go on, I'll kick his ass if he snob you."

Tristan shook his head. "Not really. We just came..."

She nodded "Cool more newbies" she said smiling

Shana went towards Tristan. "Hey..."

Tristan glanced at him stonily then watched as Courtney raised an eyebrow. He doesn't admit it but he is pretty much scared of Courtney. She's really a bad ass and very brutal. "What?" he asked.

"Uh..." Shana trailed. "Do you...guys want to go somewhere? I mean its really boring here and there's no classes yet..." she blurted.

Courtney clapped. "That will be awesome. You're coming Tristan."

"Who said I was?"

"I did." she grinned at him and looked at Taylah. "Want to join us? Just off campus.))

Courtney went towards Tristan and whispered. "Our next hunting place. Party Bar. There's this guy named Raven that works with them. He's not yet the target but...its close. He's not there everyday. We'll just look at the surrounding then come back later." she looked at the others. "Let's go at the Party Bar?"

Shana saw how Courtney told something at Tristan seriously but didn't said anything. "Sure."
