Book linked to wrong author?

I just added a book for a friend but it has been linked to a different author with the same name so therefore he won't be able to link his account to that author name. Can this be taken off the wrong author's profile?
The book is The Deluge of Elias.
If it cannot be taken off that record, it's probably be best to delete the actual book so it's not attributed to the wrong author.
