This book is perfect for this group. Its the tale of a group struggling to survive the apocalypse and get across country to a rumored safe haven. Its the first installment of a series based on the survivors of this apocalypse and how they survive many dangerous obsticles and dangerous people. The second installment which should be coming soon is sometime later the survivors leave there safe haven to travel the post apocalyptic mess to find other survivors and also supplies for their camp. They run into many things that threaten there return home and find out they just might not be the only ones who made it out. The further they go the crazier this new world gets.
