I thought every attempt at a plot twist in this book was bad, like, really bad. I thought it was really obvious about Ra/Zia and Walt/Anubis. The only time I was even mildly surprised was when the Gods had to go away. Comments?

I completely agree. For most of the book I was like STOP POSTPONING AND TELL SADIE THAT YOU'LL BE ANUBIS'S HOST. It was so annoying.
Yeah, and the whole Zia/Ra thing, it was super obvious when she started attacking people with FREAKING BALLS OF FIRE! Honestly!
yah i kno right!!!!!!!!! it was soooo freakin horrible!
Whenever I read a book, I get so much into the character that I don't notice the obvious things, so every obvious prediction Zia/Ra and Anubis/Walt, I couldn't see.

Probably have to check that out." Also, they've somehow mentioned the Greek gods in each book. If he doesn't combine the two series, someone like Felix and his penguins might make a surprise appearance.

I KNOW!!! i was like "uh, Riordan? You used the names Drew and Lacy already." although Drew is asian in HOO and she isn't in Kane chronicles. also Lacy in HOO is spelled "Lacey" and not Lacy like in Kane. i dunno. he might just like those names. i don't thinkn he's mixing them.

So as Drew. Her last name is Tanaka and it's Japanese so she really is an Asian girl. Well, just so you know. ^_^
