Steven Drachman | 169 comments How can I change my settings so that I get an email whenever someone reviews or posts about my book? (I've found that chronic web checking on these kinds of things cuts into on my time spent writing my sequel, so I am trying to go cold turkey!) I get an email whenever a friend or someone I am following writes a review, but not when there is activity about my own book; for that, I have to log in and check myself. Thanks for your help.

Katherine Owen | 19 comments Yes! This is what I need answers to as well. If it's not available, it's definitely on my GR authors wish list.

D.M. Andrews (author) Andrews (dmandrews) | 79 comments There's a section of your author page that tells you about mentions of your book and your author name (I think just if the GR links are used), although I've found it unreliable at times. Evidently I was mentioned on the fantasy and paranormal thread yesterday but for the life of me I can't find any such post...

Steven Drachman | 169 comments Thanks for the reply. Is there any to get an email notification if someone mentions it? For example, if anyone replies to this post, I will get an email letting me know (that way I don't have to keep logging in and checking). But I can't figure out how to get notification in an email if someone reviews my book.

Steven Drachman | 169 comments Thanks for the response! That's what I'm doing now, but I'm wondering if there's an alternative. For example, I didn't need to check back with this group periodically to see if anyone responded - an email got sent to me as soon as you posted. I was wondering if there's any way to do that for my books - fix the settings so I'll get automatic notice and don't have to keep checking. It'd be odd if we could get notices automatically for everything else, but not for this.

Thanks again for your response.

Steven Drachman | 169 comments I think I can conclude that if no one knows about it, it doesn't exist - thanks to everyone for your responses, and Goodreads, if you're listening ....?

We don't offer that option as an email yet, but I think it's an interesting idea. We're currently playing around with various email campaigns for authors, so I'll see about adding this to the mix.

Jon Foyt | 8 comments I am unable to remove a book from my author books, or add new novels. Is there a way to email Goodreads? Jon Foyit

Paula (paulaan) | 332 comments The best place to ask about book issues is here

What book do you need removing? Is it not written by you or out of print?

Anyone can add new books using this link once they have been a member for 5 days
