Bradisaac I can't recall the article title, but I was reading about this book yesterday.

B That's why I added it. I read the same one.

NobodySpecial It can be a bit technical at times (lovely read for the old-fashioned Unix-admins), but it is also a seriously good book. It also gives a nice insight of the mind of the manager who is trying to figure out what is wrong and how it affects his personal life. I have to say it's a lot better then Takedown! Enjoy your read!

K. Sisirkumar Cliff Stoll’s pursuit of a minor accounting discrepancy of just a few cents unexpectedly draws him into a months-long investigation that uncovers an active network intruder. His meticulous efforts to trace and document the cracker’s behaviour, including the elaborate monitoring systems he had to build from scratch, make the narrative both engaging and instructive. Readers familiar with Unix environments will appreciate the technical detail even more, though the book remains an interesting read for everyone.
