Heather B (heatherbenson) I'm almost finished Tempted by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast. I like it so far.

message 1202: by Valorie (new)

Valorie I just finished [image error] and could not put it down! A great fast paced plot with a steamy romance that kept me giggling through the whole story! Highly recommend it! I think I'm going to move on to either Undying (Clare Point, #2) by V.K. Forrest or [image error]

message 1203: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments I just finished On the Edge. It was a great book! Now I don't know what to read lol.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Right now I am reading The Gift and so far it's really good.

message 1205: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (theholyterror) | 115 comments I haven't been reading a lot the last week because of school and spending time with family ... but I'm in between these books right now, in order of how interested I am in them:

On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews [image error] [image error] Real Murders (Aurora Teagarden Mystery, #1) by Charlaine Harris

On the Edge is the most intriguing so far, I honestly like it better than Magic Bites already.

Under the Dome is my first Stephen King book, surprisingly enough. When I read what this book was about I couldn't get it out of my head. I just have to know what's going on. The deaths are gruesome and sad but it's gotten to the point where I'm almost complete desensitized to it.

Pirate Latitudes reminded me of False Colors at first and I was afraid to keep going. But I decided to read it on my breaks at work and I was pleasantly surprised. It caught my interest and I'm upset I had to leave it at work! So I won't be able to continue reading it until Tuesday.

Real Murders is really showing its age and I got a little bored with it at first. The good thing is, it's a very fast read so if I tried I could finish it in a few hours.

Melodie (melodieco) Has anyone here finished Shadowland? It was a little better than Blue Moon (The Immortals, #2) by Alyson Noel , but has deteriorated to the point that it's pissing me off as bad as BLUE MOON did.

Oh dear. I just finished Evermore the other day and loved it. I think depending on how Blue Moon is will depend on whether or not I continue reading the series or not, for me at least.

Me too, I liked Evermore, and I've read Blue Moon and liked it, maybe not as much as the first but it was still good. But I still need to read the thrid one.

At least it gives me an excuse to go to the bookstore. Lol.

Oh, dear. I liked the first well enough, but the second wasn't nearly as good. I ended up trading my copies off and putting this third on hold at the library. Maybe I should be glad I didn't purchase it.

I absolutely loved EVERMORE, but BLUE MOON just made me angry. Ever did SO many absolutely stupid things, things I thought were completely out of character, that I REALLY didn't like it at all. SHADOWLAND started out better, but has deteriorated badly. I picked up one of the other things I'm reading because it's pissed me off. I don't know how the first book could be so good, and the other 2 so NOT! I really don't think I'll read any more of these.

ya I agree that the second wasn't as good as the first one. But I think that I'll give the third a try and if I don't like it then I'll stop reading the series.

message 1218: by Kelley Anne (new)

Kelley Anne | 1619 comments Carolyn - I was pretty upset that that series is over too! She did end it in a way that she could add more if she wanted to, so hopefully she does! I love the Keyon series! Great books! Yeah, there are a lot of them, but you'll enjoy it!

I am currently reading, The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong, Fire by Kristin Cashore and The Paris Vendetta A Novel by Steve Berry

You know, the link is incorrect. It's the book cover I have, but Lion's Lady is not there. So, I'm sorry to say I can't say.

I actually added that one to my TBR--for the quarterly royals challenge--because I thought I remembered you talking about that series...something about a Viscount? Thanks.

Shannon (theholyterror) | 115 comments Starting Divine Misdemeanors (Meredith Gentry, #8) by Laurell K. Hamilton today. We got it in early at work and we can check out strict on sale titles so I'm glad I brought back Under the Dome yesterday!

message 1249: by Valorie (new)

Valorie I just finished A Girl's Guide to Vampires (Dark Ones, #1) by Katie MacAlister Well unfortunately I can only say this first book was just OK for me. I found the two female characters kinda annoying and childish. I did think there was some smart and witty writing so I will try the next book in the series and hopefully it will get better. I'm now moving on to The Hunger (Companion, #2) by Susan Squires
