Has anyone read the Marla Mason series by T.A. Pratt ? Blood Engines Poison Sleep Dead Reign Spell Games
I read the first 3 a while ago and I liked them. I would list them under UF, Marla is pretty hard core.

I'm reading Witch Craft by Caitlin Kittredge and I'm having a hard time getting into it. Don't know if it's me or the book. I think I had a hard time getting into the first three books of this series but ended up liking them so maybe that's the case here.

I'm reading Tanner's Scheme by Lora Leigh. I don't know what number it is in the series because I started somewhere in the middle lol and haven't read the beginning ones.I've read 3 of the Breed series and I really like them all.
Just finished Lover Revealed, didnt like it as much as Lover Awakend. Now reading Club Dead by Charlaine Harris.
Just finished Tanner's Scheme and moved on to The Seance by Heather graham. I'm also reading Magic in the Bone by devon monk.
Finished Death's Daughter. It was OKAY. I started Let the Right One In yesterday and like it so far. Creepy. (and I think Oskar is a little whacked lol)
Jess wrote: "Just finished Tanner's Scheme and moved on to The Seance by Heather graham. I'm also reading Magic in the Bone by devon monk."Jess, how are you liking Magic to the Bone? I have the two books in that series to read, just haven't gotten to them yet.

Not bad so far.. but it's on my computer so I'm having a hard time reading it. I hate adobe versions lol.
Although I just heard it's not exactly a happy ending. I hate non-happy endings. lol. But I'll keep going with it. It's an interesting concept.
I'm now reading The Traveler, by John Twelve Hawks. It's good, though the Big Brother theme is a bit pervasive, like they'll never survive because it's so bad/big. But it's definitely a neat idea. The main guy is a Traveler, who can psychically go to other worlds/realms.
I just finished The Outlay Demon Wails by Kim Harrison and and getting ready to start White Whitch Black Curse tonight. I am so excited.

Just finished Dark Lover and am re-reading Lover Eternal again (didn't start with #1 but read #2 and #3 first so am starting all over). It's funny how many of us are reading JR Ward.

So what did you think of Odd Hours Jinnifer?"
At the last page of the book my last thought was....WHAT?!?!? How on earth could Koontz do so well with the other Odd Thomas books and then just leave all these loose ends open at the end? He is absolutely going to write a "second" part to this book. I kind of have an idea of where he might be going with the coyotes and Annamaria but who knows if we will ever find out! :)

So on one of the other groups I am part of I was asking if another Odd Thomas book was coming out to finish this one and they said in 2010 the 5th one is coming out and the reason that it has taken so long was because Koontz wanted to finish his Frankstein series before he started another Odd book. Which is a bummer for those of us that were left hanging with Odd.

That's good to hear Jinnifer! But for those of us who read the first 2 in his Frankenstein series have been anxiously awaiting the 3rd one for ALONG time ;) So long in fact I gave away the 2 that I had and had to buy them again to re-read them before I get the third one! I love koontz, but I think he needs to stick with stand alone books LOL ;)

Lots of people loved BONE CROSSED, but I didn't. I like it the least of all the Mercy books.
I LOVE CatchingFire! It was really good. Did you read hunger games?

I am for sure going to read Destined for an Early Grave. I just got a notice from the library that it's ready to be picked up. I will have to take a break from the reading challenge to read it or change one of my reading choices. I can't wait!!!
