Ok people of A Place Called Dreams, I have some really great books though what have you read that you disliked a lot? There's not a lot of books that make you go:

"I don't know..."

OR

"What in the world?!?"

OR

"This is so awesome!"

OR

"This is just great." (sarcasm dripping)

Tell us about a book you read and choose your category. Sometimes the book you chose might be an actually good read that probably deserves to go on The Library of Book Fametics.

OR

It really is horrible... :(

"This is just great." (sarcasm dripping)

One of my least favorite books, (and one that a lot of girls that I talk to have really enjoyed) is Fallen by Lauren Kate. There was nothing happening until the last 70 pages of a more than 200 page book. The main character irritated me to the point of fighting the urge to throw the book across the room. Just yuck.

Ha ha. I get the feeling but wow... to me I thought that Fallen by Lauren Kate was ok but for some reason, I still felt the urge to read the rest of the series :P I guess it wasn't that bad... Or was it?

message 4: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell (neniacampbell) I liked Fallen but the character realllllly annoyed me - and I felt like the author was trying too hard to make her characters unique, not by using good characterization but by making them all kind of freaky.

Some books that I disliked that everyone else seems to like are The Notebook, My Sister's Keeper, and To Kill A Mockingbird. Also, Twilight and its many spawn.

message 5: by Nenia (new)

Nenia Campbell (neniacampbell) Oh, and my categories would be "This is just great." (sarcasm dripping); "What in the world?!?"; "I don't know..."; and "This is just great." (sarcasm dripping), respectively. :)

Yeah. I kinda disliked Twilight too *not a twilight fan here, pls do not be offended* Well maybe the main characters or the last part of the passion #3, I was like "What in the world?!?"

Jamie (jamiesummer) I have to admit that I get the "This is just great." (sarcasm dripping)-feeling a lot with some books like the Mortal Instruments, where I'm like: just let them be happy for two minutes!! It's nothing bad, but it's just like a neverending fight! I don't know if I'm making much sense now!

I totally understand you, it's like every book is converting to Mortal Instruments, but yeah, it's still awesome :)

Annah (napqueeniereads) I DON'T KNOW!
I don't remember what the series is called but they're by Melissa Marr and about faeries. I heard from soooo many people that they were amazing but I was seriously bored for a lot of it. I thought the premise was good but there just wasn't a lot going on.
THIS WAS AWESOME!!
I absolutely love athe House of Night books by PC and Kristen Cast. It's one of my favorite series' by far!

Lucy Qhuay "This is just great." (sarcasm dripping) - Nicholas Sparks's books.
I'll tell you something - his books are boring and predictable and why? Because it is always the same!
Fellow A and fellow B have nothing in common and, just like that, they fall in love.
They are happy for a time and then fellow A or fellow B freaks out and ends up the relationship or some major tragedy happens and one or another ends up dead.

Have you read the book called The Diary of Anne Frank? It's a nice story about a girl who practically lived in an attic for kinda of her life during the World War as well as her having herself write about her fears and desires. It's a really nice story :)

Very true! When I stare at books sometimes I wish they would become real plus I kinda get boring which makes me into a big daydreamer (if you know what I mean) hence my status name "Bookaholic and Dreamer" :)
