Brandi Aquino (bsal_83) | 1 comments Hi everyone,

What a cool group! I write like a read: all over the place. I would have to say that, right now, my favorite book, or series of books, are the Demonica series by Larissa Ione. Man, can that woman write! I am currently reading Sin Undone, but I have to say that Wraith's book was my favorite. I guess I have a penchant for damaged men lol.

Sadie Forsythe Hello all, I'm Sadie (somehow that first sentence always seems so awkward). I'm a 'mature' graduate student, writer and mother of two girls (almost 2 and almost 5). I am an eclectic reader, though my favourite genre is sci-fi/fantasy. I've read many of the great classics listed above, but they don't usually make my faves list. I've just published my first novel, an epic fantasy. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning a few tip on how to juggle time between family and everything else.

Hi Brandi and Sadie! It's great to have you here.

LookBackAtMe A warm welcome to Brandi and Sadie. And Brandi, I think that whole "damaged men" thing is utterly attractive. A seemingly hardened soul opens up and reveals that he's actually quite vulnerable.... *sigh and swoon*

Samantha Bailey | 4 comments Hi, everyone! I'm Sam, and I'm so happy to find a group for writing mamas who just get the juggle of doing it all.

I just published my debut novel, Finding Lucas, and in between my writing, business and the kids, I love to read. It's the best way to wind down at the end of a long, long day. I love chick lit, mysteries, suspense and literary fiction. I just finished Sea Change by Karen White and highly recommend it.

Thanks!

Hello, Sam! What's your book about? It sounds like perhaps contemporary? YA or no? :D Welcome aboard.

I'm just catching up on this thread and giggling myself silly. I just finished Elantris on Audible- I've become a bit of an audio addict I'm afraid ie a good way to drown out my children while cleaning

Hi, Ranee. Thanks for the welcome! Finding Lucas is a contemporary romantic comedy/chick lit (not YA, but I do have a YA coming out next year) about a woman in a very unhappy relationship who thinks finding the boy who got away will fix everything.

Melanie (melmurphy) | 1 comments Greetings everyone,
I am a SAHM and writer. I've worked on non-fiction so far in my career, all technical manuals and catalogs. Boring! Now I'm trying to get my fiction side warmed up with a murder mystery novel. I'm just getting started with research and character building, but I'm liking my idea more as the days go by!
I tried NANOWRIMO this past year and perhaps I'll be ready again this year. November seems like such a busy month for me, but maybe I can "cheat" and get a head start before then....
I like to read just about anything I can get my hands on. Lately I've read and enjoyed the Hunger Games series and another trilogy that perhaps I shouldn't name publicly (it starts with 50...). And, of course, the classics are always on the list.

I love to read as well, and just recently decided to seriously start writing. Currently I'm reading bookcover:Rain of Gold|14345]and I'm about to start Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. James . I hope to get to know some of you better!

Samantha Bailey | 4 comments Hi, Nicki, it's great to meet you. 3 and 2--wow! Mine are 5 and 2. And writing definitely keeps me sane. :)

I just finished Mommy Tracked by Whitney Gaskell, and it was great. Have you read it?
