SOLVED. Disgustingly Gross book about a kid who goes to Hell [s]

This is one of those books where I assume the title is very obvious, but I somehow keep missing it. Diablo or something like that. I believe the cover had an ice cream cone with a toy devil looking head where the ice cream would go.

Basically, an adolescent or young teen dies early and ends up going to Hell, where he encounters things so horrible and graphic, it's a little difficult to not think about converting, just to avoid potentially going through what he does.

There are two things that stick out with this book. The first is that it is very smart about what it's trying to say. I have no doubt that this author is an intelligent man. The second thing is that this book is revolting. Like gag-reflex revolting. When I say it's graphic, I mean the author goes into very descriptive detail on the gross things that happen. Over the course of the story, the boy has a colonoscopy bag explode on him, has to wipe his butt with a jellyfish, has to eat feces (what else would you eat in hell?), has to realize that his family never really cared for him, has to pop a boil, and just other stuff that I won't go into. If you've read the book, I doubt you've forgotten it. By the end of the book, though, he manages to escape Hell and reborn himself on earth.

Oh, and this book was fairly funny. I'm making it sound like this was a horror story, but it's not written to terrify you into becoming a Christian or anything. The writer just clearly enjoys the grotesque. A lot. I have no idea why I want to read this again, since the repulsive stuff bothered me, but I just remember the message and plot being really well-told.
