Is there any way I can put quotes out of my own books on the pages of my own books and attribute them correctly to that book, and if necessary amend/correct/complete them later?
This quote is from my book The King's Son. I added it from a document on my kindle so it is attributed to Anonymous. I was hoping someone could attribute it to me, J F Castillo and my book The King's Son. Thank you! https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/1120...

Sorry folks, as a new member I did not realize that I'm unable to edit or remove a quote once it is entered. Could I please have the following incorrect and duplicate quotes deleted:https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/1136...

There is a mistake in it, further more I wanna add it latter as one of my new book quote... so could you please delete it :)
We don't generally delete quotes that users have added, but if you tell us what the correct version should be, we can edit it for you.
Please delete my quote, which I submitted myself, that begins "I've often wondered why the color of the tropical sea..." You're going to ask "Why?" Well... I would like to reduce the number of my quotes from four to three. You're going to ask "Why?" Well... Only three appear on my profile page, and I've chosen that one to eliminate because it's the least interesting. You're going to respond "We don't generally delete quotes that users have added." Well... Since I'm the user who submitted Mr. Garvey's quote, and I am Mr. Garvey, I believe the jurisdiction of the quote remains with me rather than with GoodReads, despite what your supervisor has told you. Since GoodReads is collecting revenue from advertising appearing on each of our pages, GoodReads is not being provided pro bono to the public, and so the Facebook approach ("we provide it for free so we'll do whatever we like") isn't actually appropriate. You, yourself, as I understand it, are volunteering your time as a superlibrarian, and so this isn't directed at you but at GoodRead's policymakers, who *aren't* volunteering their time. But since they don't read the forums, I can't communicate directly with them. In any case, would you delete my quote which begins "I've often wondered why the color..."? Thanks very much.
John wrote: "We don't generally delete quotes that users have added."That normally refers to people 'liking' a quote and adding it to their own profile as in the case before your posting. Since no one had 'liked' your quote it has been deleted.
Goodreads rules apply on the Goodreads site.
Please delete all my quotes here, https://www.goodreads.com/author/quot...These are all quotes by myself, from my book.
I didn't realize that I had inadvertently added double quotation marks and in one of them I wrote it's instead of it.
Thank you so much!

Done, and combined.
I googled myself and one of my books and found links to quotes from that book. I didn't add them and they don't make sense as quotes--they're just random words. Can they be deleted? https://www.goodreads.com/author/quot... Thanks!

Sorry, but the six likes mean it must stay. I can be edited. I've already edited the tag cloud.

Hi there,I'm the author of «Jesus the Phoenician» and I quoted a paragraph from it which I want to delete because I share it again without the marks for footnotes. So can u please delete this first quote?

Moved to the correct author.
Also, 'friend' requests are not for requesting edits.

* I am the author of the book this quote is taken from
* I placed it myself.
* I can't amend/correct it
* I wanted to add the person who is speaking
* I wanted the quote attributed, not only to myself, but also to the book it is taken from
As the author I can't do these things.
Please remove this quote completely.
