Yes, I cut down to 3-4/day before quitting cold. I discovered somewhere in there, during the 3-4/day period, that I had lost the taste for them. So quitting was actually incredibly easy.

I did it cold turkey the second time. I still feel like smoking occasionally, even after eight years without a puff. I wouldn't go back to it .
Eating Christmas baked goods and candy...
Going back to the fridge for another slice of the pumpkin roll. Maybe I should throw it away. Aargh!
Sleeping. I've been so sleepy this vacation. I think it's the meds...
I've been working way too much the last two months ... and there's little indication that it will slow down for awhile.
The heart meds make me sleepy. The Flecanide in particular, I think.
Never wish away your time, you can always just wish you were somewhere else (e.g. a tropical island) but always appreciate every minute you get.
No more wishing life away. There is too much wonder in the cycle of life to disregard any moment in time.::stands back to take own advice::
I hear it is an amazingly regenerative organ. I imagine it needs a holiday now and then, though.
Back on the subject of the liver ...I'm pushing mine to the limit because I'm pretty sure that one of these days Costco is going to be offering replacement human livers in bulk!
