SOLVED. Christian adventure series, James Bond like protagonist [s]

I remember that it was a series. The protagonist was like a Christian James Bond. It might have had a small or large romance element involved. I think I read the 1st 2 books in the series. In one of them (possibly the 1st) the adventure was set in the desert (plane crash maybe). The other one was set in Arctic/Antarctic dog sled guy makes tea/coffee or supper with "yellow snow" he has melted cause he is testing or doesn't like protagonist.

Read it about 1985.
