That's how I learned to read music when I was like 5. each type of note- like an eighth note or a quarter note or two eighth notes all have words/hand signs that go with them.

*jumps up and down waving* i just got back from an awesome game of laser tag like almost an hour ago or something at the mall and it was AWESOME! i'm so pumped right now lol
me tooooo omg my friend graham (he's a senior) was my ride home and i wanted to stay at the mall longer but he insisted on leaving so i couldn't lol oh well :)
