It's about a girl who goes to her grandmother's house every summer. I think her name is Rosie. She helps her grandmother in the garden and grandma tells her stories about the flowers. There is a recipe in there to make Rosewater perfume.

It was written maybe late 80s, early 90s. At least, that's when I had the book. It's a children's book and as such as lots of pictures.
