How do I create a promo code for an e-book on Amazon? I need to give out three codes to the winners of my giveaways but I can NOT find where to do this. Help?

Hi Racheal, not sure, some say to promote through Smashwords with free coupon, other say gift cards and the last to email a pdf to their address. Amazon does not give any information except to state they send out promotional codes through advertisement. Hope someone can help you.
:( I really hope that's not that case. I can't publish through smashwords just yet, I am participating in KDP select. Soooo, I don't know what to do.
The easier way is to give as gifts, you can use credit cards or checks and sent to email address, or send the winner amazon gift cards to their home or business address. Also you buy them and will paid postage to mail them to their homes. The pdf file is the best for short term ask the winners, they probably will understand.
