Terri | 1 comments The Road. I was so horrified that I read it in one sitting. I know its a scary book when I have to finish it before I can ever hope to sleep.

Brendan Butts (brendan_butts) | 11 comments I wouldn't be a shameless self promoter if I didn't mention my own book, Recombination which is set in a dystopian 2085 where corporations control most of the world and it's resources -- though I suppose by that logic we kind of live in a dystopia, huh?

Recombination

Elizabeth (fireborn) | 1 comments In order: the uglies series, divergent, a handmaid's tale, hunger games, 1984, maze runner, the giver, unwind

Theo Gangi (theogangi) | 6 comments Love A Canticle for Leibowitz. Maybe not so action packed but riveting. Also Hunger Games, though the nerd in me hates agreeing with the popular kids.

Greg Hickey | 15 comments Lots of great titles in this thread!

My favorites are 1984, The Time Machine and The Giver, but I'm always looking for my next favorite.

So I did some research to find the best dystopian novels of all-time. I searched previous curated lists from the Huffington Post, Wired and several other publications, took suggestions from individual readers on Goodreads and Reddit, and solicited recommendations from dystopian fiction authors like Neal Shusterman, Joelle Charbonneau, David Brin and Lois Lowry to produce this list of The 110 Best Dystopian Novels: http://www.greghickeywrites.com/best-...

As a bonus, I’ve also created two PDF downloads: 1) dystopian recommendations from fourteen dystopian fiction authors, and 2) a one-page guide to the 110 Best Dystopian Novels. Happy reading!

Carolyn McBride (carolynmcbride) | 5 comments Dystopians I've enjoyed, not in any particular order;

-Wool by Hugh Howey
-The entire Hunger Games series
-The entire 'Fuel' series by Nathan Jones
-After Tomorrow

And of course, I can't remember the rest because they're on my Kobo. Ah well, more later!

Vicki (vickiguardianofthewraiths) I just joined this group so I could find more books of this kind to read I just read my first dystopian books for a challenge on another group I'm and I really liked them. It's Surviving Ashes by Layne Kennedy about people trying survive and find their friend after the Yellowstone Caldera erupts I thought it was really good so joined to find more
