Books Just Like This One

I just adore the book 'I was Jane Austens Best Friend' and really like the era it is set in, with all the balls, gowns and so on. I was just wondering if anyone new any books set in a era like this one. If anyone could help that would be really great!

Well, all of Jane Austen's books, of course.

Sorcery and Cecelia or The Enchanted Chocolate Pot is also Regency and has many of those elements (there are a few sequels as well).

I loved this book too! it was so weird reading about Jane, knowing she would grow up and right all the fantastic novels she did. i'm reading persuasion atm :) i must admit, historical fiction is kinda my thing... i read far too much of it! ...

I too find that I read far too much historical fiction, but I love it so I just keep reading it! Thanks for the post Tilly!
