Ladyhawk | 381 comments My local radio station does this every Monday. Thought it would be fun here!

Today's fill in the blank is "Help! I can't stop watching ..."
What's your guilty pleasure? Friends? Little House on the Prairie? Dukes of Hazard?

Also I live near Belmar NJ and the show jersey shore makes me cringe...

Leea When I was pregnant, I couldn't stop watching birthing shows. lol!

message 11: by Anne (new)

Anne Mikusinsi (abghostwriter) | 1 comments I can't stop watching The Real Housewives of Wherever, and Iron Chef America. Both very bad for me...:P

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Hmmm...guilty pleasures.

It just went off the air but I couldn't stop watching Gold Rush. My husband and I loved making fun of how much those crews screwed things up.

message 13: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) Toddlers and Tiaras! It's like watching a train wreck. I can't believe those parents are really going to do what they are doing - and then they do!

Ladyhawk | 381 comments Leslie wrote: "Toddlers and Tiaras! It's like watching a train wreck. I can't believe those parents are really going to do what they are doing - and then they do!"

I think that show would drive me crazy!!

I never learned to...

If you ask my family, they'd say "cook"! My meals are boring! Happy Monday!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) Do anything with a car other than change a tire. I always wanted to learn some sort of basic repairs or be able to change the oil.

message 16: by Leea (new)

Leea oooh good one. That would come in come in handy for sure.

I never Learned to speak spanish

message 17: by D.G. (new)

message 21: by Ladyhawk (last edited May 02, 2012 09:53PM) (new)

Ladyhawk | 381 comments I don't think I've ever changed a tire in my life! It probably would be valuable!
I've never learned Spanish either Leea! I've tried. Taken it in school, basically surrounded by it and still no. Still attempting French tho!

Andrea, you can join in any time! I'll post a new topic on Monday. I usually get the topics from my morning radio show.

Anyone is welcome to post a topic once one is exhausted or send to me and I'll be happy to post it.

Ladyhawk | 381 comments Study: We fall in love four times over our lifetime. Here is the article:

http://elitedaily.com/elite/2012/fall...

I have fallen in love ______ times.

message 23: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) Grat one... I've fallen in love 2 times. Unless celebrity's or fictional characters count! Then I'd say 4 times, hahaha.

message 24: by Wan (new)

Wan (wanwaddell) | 143 comments Haha this is hard to answer. I fall in love with the hero in every book I've read. How can we not counting Jamie, JZB etc etc.. :-)

But in my real life. I think --

I have fallen in love __3__ times.

message 25: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I had the same thought, Wan, haha. I fall in love every time, but then it isn't really love. The only two one that I'd really say LOVE love is Jamie... and JZB, haha.

message 26: by Leea (last edited May 07, 2012 11:10AM) (new)

Leea I've fallen in love __3__ times.

My husband and two children.

message 27: by Stacia (the 2010 club) (last edited May 07, 2012 01:45PM) (new)

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) I've fallen in love __3__ times.

Leea, it's so cute that you included your kids. :)

I had the intense puppy love for my main high school boyfriend. You know that first love thing.

My older son's dad. Before it took me a year and a half to realize he and I were going nowhere, I thought he was "the one." To this day, I've wondered if I mistook strong attraction for love but no...at the time I would have gone anywhere, done anything for him. It's easy to say after the fact, "no I didn't really love him," but if he had wanted to get married, I would have in a heartbeat (at that time). I'm just glad now that it didn't go there.

My husband of course. He is my best friend and my partner in every way. I would be lost without him.

Thanks! I feel the same way about my husband.

The moment I saw my sons, I fell head over heals in love with them.

After I met my husband I realized the two men I thought I loved before him were nothing compared to the affection I feel for my husband.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) That is true. Once you find the person you're meant to be with, it seems like all other feelings pale in comparison.

message 30: by Wan (new)

Wan (wanwaddell) | 143 comments You guys are so lucky. I've yet to find that person.

message 31: by Ladyhawk (new)

Ladyhawk | 381 comments Hang in there Wan! I hope it happens for you! Keep in mind there are many ways and things to fall in love with!

message 32: by Wan (new)

Wan (wanwaddell) | 143 comments Awww thank you LH.

message 33: by Ladyhawk (new)

Ladyhawk | 381 comments Ladies are constantly checking themselves in the mirror!?! Checking themselves up to 8 time a day.
Are you vain or self-conscious?

I check my reflection about _____ times a day.

message 34: by Carolyn (new)

Carolyn I check my reflection about 9 times a day.
Ever since I had the Gastric surgery I am in the bathroom about at least 9 times a day....

message 35: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) I check my reflection about 4 times a Day... I would think.

message 36: by Leea (new)

Leea I check my reflection about ___5__ times a day.

Carolyn you had gastric surgery, when was that?

message 37: by Tricia (new)

Tricia (triciareadsitall) Hmm, I don't think I check my reflection all that often, but now I'm wondering if I do it and don't even realize it. Tomorrow, I'm counting my reflection checks. *smile*

message 38: by Jocelin (new)

Jocelin | 85 comments I check my reflection 2 times a day.

message 39: by Wan (new)

Wan (wanwaddell) | 143 comments I'm not at all vain. However, I have a mirror in my cubicle so people can't sneak up behind me. So it's there. I always glance at it so -- more than 9 times a day for sure. :)

message 40: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I check my reflection about 3 times a day. I have 2 teenage daughters living at home - the mirror is definitely overused by them!

message 41: by Ladyhawk (new)

Ladyhawk | 381 comments I'd really don't know how many times a day I check it. I'm not vain but I like to freshen up mid day and check for the dreaded "bat in the cave" several times a day!

message 42: by Leea (new)

Leea What's "Bat in the cave" lol???

message 43: by Wan (new)

Wan (wanwaddell) | 143 comments Yeah. Enlighten us please. :)

Ladyhawk | 381 comments Thanks Ottilie! I'd rather not "say" it!

message 47: by Ottilie (new)

Ottilie (ottilie_weber) | 438 comments Hahaha your welcome. My family has "Aunt Pat has something to tell you" if your fly is down.

message 48: by Wan (new)

Wan (wanwaddell) | 143 comments LOL.
