Hi everyone.I can see a few familiar names/blogs on here which is just awesome.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Kathryn. I'm an indie author and book reviewer from Adelaide. My blog is called Kathryn's Inbox and features a variety of books, authors and genres, that reflect my somewhat eccentric tastes.
I have been running my blog for a bit over two years, but it's only recently that I have become more social and started to participate in challenges and forums.
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with goodreads, but please feel to convince me that this is a great group to be a part of.

Hi everyone, I've recently joined Goodreads and stumbled across Aussie Book Bloggers. I think of myself as a book blogger, although I only publish one book review each week. My main blog is The Book Chook,www.thebookchook.com , where my audience is parents, teachers and librarians. I promote children's literacy, learning and literature - or try to, anyway. I have a huge passion for children's picture books so I tend to specialise there.
The Book Chook has been going since 2009. Last year I thought hard about giving up because I found I was too busy for many of the important things in life - like coffee with friends. Instead, I made some hard decisions, and cut down on the time I spend on social media and networking. It's sadly cut down on blog comments and tweets, pins etc, but it feels like my life is back - yay!
I've read through the intros and didn't notice any other children's book reviewers here. Love to meet them if there are.
Hi Susan,I'm a children's/YA book reviewer. My blog is The Great Raven at sbursztynski.blogspot.com. See you online!
Sue
Hi Sue, I know your blog and have read you in PIO too I think. Are you on the OZTL list? Thanks for responding! Susan

Hello everyone! I didn't really know this thread existed! I'm Deborah from Hervey Bay in Queensland and blog about books, not dieting and other stuff at http://debbish.com.Feel free to friend me here. I've never previously made much of an effort but started this evening and reached my 'friending' limit!
I'm a fan of crime fiction, mysteries and thrillers. I've long been an avid reader but only started recording my reading here in May 2012 (cos I kept borrowing the same books from the library!) and blogging about books a year ago.
PS. I hate non-fiction. Not exactly sure why. #damnedreality
Sorry to hear you hate non fiction. I love it - even wrote a true crime book for children. There are some things so bizarre in "damned reality" that nobody would believe them in fiction! And f course, you do have to read it when doing research.
Hi, I'm Bec from Tasmania, I have an audiobook review site, at the moment I don't blog about much else. I started it in order to get free listens and I try hard to promote the audiobook in as many places I can think of.
So far I haven't had much interaction with other bloggers as I don't do challenges and don't know a thing about hosting hops and suchlike.
I've just put up a new theme and am looking around for Blogroll candidates,
Here's my site. http://audiothing.blogspot.com.au

Hi everyone :-) My name is Sarah. I just found you guys. I have been book blogging since 2013 on The Adventures of SacaKat aka http://sarahfairbairn.com/ I write Book Reviews, with other stuff thrown in as well. I'm also a member of the Goodreads group Australian YA Bloggers & Readers.
Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm an alcoholic (aren't we all?). I guess that's pretty true of most writers, right? Kind of our lot in life, I guess.
I just discovered that this group exists, so woo! I have a wordpress blog (https://thedarkword.wordpress.com/) and I'm also on FB, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. Am I allowed to post links to those, here?
I'm on Amazon, with 3 stories out now, and my writer's group are about to release a new one, too, bringing my total up to 4 (See ma, I can maths good too!). I write apocalyptic, fantasy and some sci fi and horror, but mostly it's those first two, and it tends to be funny stuff. Not sure how that happened, I just took someone's advice on a character and went with it and suddenly I had a sense of humour. Weird.
I'm also considering a Pozible campaign for feeding my editor and cover artist on the next book (gotta get on to editing that some time this century).
So that's me.
Dear Michael,My name is Monique Gliozzi. I am a novice in the field of blogging, but love to interact with different people with similar interests. My day job is working as a doctor in Australia, teaching people how to fly light aircraft on the weekend and writing fiction (suspense/thriller/action) in my spare time. I have a website www.moniquegliozzi.com and am available by e-mail on Monique.Gliozzi@bigpond.com
Hi, for several years I’ve been a miscellaneous blogger and Australian fiction reader-reviewer. I've recently joined Goodreads and I'm ready to discuss blogging, books and our great Aussie authors! Bye, Gretchen.

I've been blogging since 2010, my blog is called Tahlia Newland, reader, writer & reviewer, which pretty much sums up the topics I blog on. The review focus is most urban, contemporary, & YA fantasy, but also some romance and mystery. I also review for the Awesome Indies site. I even write posts for reviewers about reviewing.
