Chapter one..."My eyes began to pull, but it was only barely morning, I wasn't stopping until I reached the ocean."
I knew what you were saying...but I would suggest reworking the first part of the sentence..."My eyes began to pull" ... it sounds painful :]
Other than that, I really liked the concept so far!
