The thread "For Creative People" is very popular on Goodreads, so I have decided to create one like that thread here. All you have to do is be creative and keep the story going by adding on your own part. Finish with ... so that the next commenter will know you've finished. Arnold McNulty making a law to make any type of spell casting in public illegal.

It was true, McNulty was one of the more radical officials at the ministry - he was among those petitioning to raise the wand - carrying age to thirteen! - but a move like this would certainly be political suicide. Surely he wouldn't want to risk his job on such a hopeless law?

Her questions were answered when two weeks later...

Rita entered her bakery and began talking to another shocked-looking customer about Mr McNulty. "The old fool! He's running a campaigne to see who really wants the wand-carrying age to be raised to thirteen. Ridiculous, of course...would you mind telling me your opinion?" she blabbed.

Rita took out a notebook. Madeline listened in, as usual., as Roberta Hart (the lady Rita was talking to) began to say...
