What was your final opinion of LD?"
I loved it was so engrossing. The characters were great...I wanted to read more about there adventures but the book did have to come to an end.

I'm so glad that you liked it, Donna. The characters seem to be staying with me since I read it. I love when that happens.
I am reading
which is the third or fourth book of this series. Its a very interesting series, different.
Just finished The Wind Through the Keyhole and I thought it was fantastic! Too, too short though, I could've read another thousand pages of stories or more. Sigh... Off to write my review and I'll be starting Wolves of the Calla either tonight before bed or first thing in the morning.

We've had Adam since last summer sometime, and I've yet to read it. Actually, Tanya has started it and I think she got about 120 or so pages into it, but she hasn't finished..
I have also read The Boneman's Daughters and Priests Graveyard and gave them both 5read stars. I have also read the Circle series and half of the Books of History's. I have also reduce Emmanuel's Veins and it was excellent.
Kyle, The Rebel Leader wrote: "Dustin wrote: "Kyle- you simply MUST read Dekker's Circle series, IMO."I'll get to the Circle series one day for sure, Dustin."
Awesome.:)
Tracy- what did you think of the Books of History? Do they have a lot to do with the Circle series as a whole, or is it more of a spin off?
It has a lot to do with the Circle series but it is also kind off a spin off. OK, less confusion, it's about Thomas's children as teens and the other teenagers involved with him. It is the Thomas from the future or the dreams. Is any of this making sense?
I finished reading The Haunted and I thought it was a really good haunted house tale. I'm back to reading The Wolf's Hour by McCammon.
Tracy wrote: "It has a lot to do with the Circle series but it is also kind off a spin off. OK, less confusion, it's about Thomas's children as teens and the other teenagers involved with him. It is the Thomas ..."Yes, that makes sense. Thank you, Tracy!
I finished The Wolf's Hour and I thought it was just awesome! I started This Crowded Earth by Robert Block. It's an older sci fi type story about human overpopulation.
I'm really looking forward to starting Eldest. Meanwhile, my re-read of Wolves of the Calla continues. I'm on p. 261.Also, per my lovely wife's recommendation, I'm pondering a 3rd reading of On Writing.

That's great, Kit.:) I highly recommend it!
About 1/3 of the way into The Dark Tower and it's just making me sad, I don't want it to end, especially now that the ka-tet is closer than ever... :(
Charlene wrote: "I started A Confederacy of Dunces. I have high hopes for it. : )"I love A Confederacy of Dunces! Enjoy.:)
Kit- I'll be there soon enough, and this'll be my 2nd journey with Roland and his ka-tet, so I know the sadness you're starting to feel now... I don't want it to end, either!
I'm at the part where they've (view spoiler) and I swear I'm feeling it too, I've been blue all day today...
I cannot wait to get there, Kit (I'm now roughly 45% into Wolves of the Calla,) but like you and I already said, I really do not want the journey to end!!
I am reading Exceptional and Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports. One for a group challenge and the other for light reading.
I finally wrapped up my re-read of Wolves of the Calla last night, and now I cannot wait to delve deeply into Song of Susannah!!
I am now currently reading Wordl without end(I had read about 200 pages or so before..but got distracted from it for awhile so going back and re-reading so that I may finally finish it). I am also reading "Gone with the Wind"
Woot! Go Dustin!I'm currently working on
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Taking it slow so far, but it's good, I like how it's being presented as 'true' :)

Thank you, Kit, I really appreciate that.:)
I've heard good things about Vampire Hunter. You'll have to let us know your final thoughts on it, once you're done.
I'm currently reading The Dark Tower V: Wolves of the Calla. I hope to finish it either tonight or tomorrow so I can start on Song of Susannah. I can't believe I'm almost done with the series; I'll be sad when it's over. :(

I'm currently 116 pages into Susannah.

I really don't want to see it end though. :( I'm sure I'll be re-reading this series sometime in the future!
I am almost finished with the Odd series, again and again I will miss him. At least until Apocalypse.
Tracy wrote: "I am almost finished with the Odd series, again and again I will miss him. At least until Apocalypse."Congratulations, Tracy!!
Believe it or not, I am already done with Song of Susannah! Soon, I'll be embarking on the final part of the journey. I cannot wait to start The Dark Tower!
Dustin wrote: "Believe it or not, I am already done with Song of Susannah! Soon, I'll be embarking on the final part of the journey. I cannot wait to start The Dark Tower!"Way to go Dustin!
Yes, way to go!I've been wanting to re-read them all myself. But I just can't seem to bring myself to do it. There are so many new things I want to read.
