How do you pronounce "Tobias"??

No sweetie, it's Toe-BYE-us.
Or the way Bookfreak wrote it.

Thanks its how its pronounced

I don't really get your point, because if someone corrected me, I'd feel stupid AND I would start using the REAL pronunciation..."
My point there was that there are different languages and people tend to pronounce it in their first language. If someone corrected you, then they're probably telling you the pronunciation in other language.

Tobias is a biblical name, so there really is only one way of saying it.
And so all I'm saying is, regardless of where you're from, if you were still to pronounce it like Toe-BEE-us, I will more than likely laugh.
Then again, if you didn't get the point, I'd probably just put it down to ignorance.
That being said - if the odd person did tell me that they pronounced their name like Toe-BEE-us. Then I would kindly call him by the name that he was raised with. Unless he stated otherwise. So in that sense, I DO understand what you're saying.

i'm a spanish speaker, that's why i pronunce like Jordan.. Toe-bee-us

Same here, and when ever I call him that, my friend bursts out laughing.

Lol! You guys are ridiculous! Haven't you met anyone named Tobias?? Yes, it can be shortened to to Toby, but everyone whose name is Tobias is called "TOE-BYE-US" or "TUH-BYE-ISS" depending on your accent.
