We got him a five-by-five for Father's Day. I think that one took him less than an hour.

A five by five? Nice. I'm not sure if I could figure that one out. I haven't solved a rubix cube in so long though that it would probably take me over a minute and thirty seconds. (Considering you said you could teach me to solve a rubix cube, you know that's quite a long time for a regular cube, right?)
Oh, and by the way: two was the lie.
No, I said "maybe." I can often figure it out, but I'm usually not sure why. I often fill those paint-by-numbers things without actually working the logic of it and still manage to get most of it right. I think I do solve the puzzle, but not consciously; there's no way I'm that lucky.Rubix cubes can take me a long time, though.

Yes :p I don't like his mohawk. I hate mohawks, lol. The other day he went in to get his hair cut because his mohawk was growing out and he asked me, "Hey babe, what should I do with my hair? I'm about to get it cut." I told him, "Get it cut like you did in 9th grade for ROTC." (It looked really good on him. Anyways.) About a half an hour later he sent another text, "I just got my mohawk re-done." Leaving me thinking, Why did you ask me how to cut it then?! Hahaha.
(eye roll) Boys. No common sense, until they finally go to college. And even then... ;)
Very few people in college have common sense. Which isn't a surprise since you're either at a community college which everyone just goes to for quick credentials and little intention of actually becoming smarter (unless they also plan to go to ...)/or you're at a university which largely teaches you how to out-smart your common sense instead of augment it.
Yeah...but he never listens to me about his hair :p After three years of knowing him, I should know this by now. In middle school he kept his hair at a few inches, and it was absolutely beautiful. Seriously, if you saw this boy's hair you would faint. And then he chopped it all off for ROTC. *head-desk* But he did look pretty fine in his uniform. *cough* Anyways........
