C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments Awesome Billie Jo and Garrison!

I can't believe I almost forgot about this game. How are you guys doing? (And sorry for my absence... again).

message 1602: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I'm doing alright these days. Still a crispy critter from burnout, but I'm otherwise holding up. You don't have to apologize for being away, CJ. Taking care of your real life business comes first in many cases.

message 1603: by Billie Jo (new)

Billie Jo (jojolov333) | 239 comments I'm doing well, i suppose. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my art class this semester! I didnt realize i would be so good at drawing real life human beings by just looking at them in front of me! Haha. But its entertaining and really improving my skills.
Health wise, not the best. But I'm well overall :)

Sarah Knitter (sarah04) | 29 comments Its been so long since I used goodreads...wow, I miss this place

message 1605: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments 1. I play records on a phonograph made in 1919.

2. Most teenagers want a car; I wanted a go-kart.

3. All my pants are blue jeans.

message 1606: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The third one?

message 1607: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments How did you guess?

message 1608: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Blind luck.

message 1609: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments My turn!

1. An overwhelming majority of my T-shirts are Pink Floyd-themed.

2. I wear sweatpants every day.

3. I wear a fedora whenever I'm out in public.

message 1610: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments 3 be the lie thar, matey ;P

message 1611: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Ding-ding-ding! You got it! Hats make my head itchy. Otherwise, I'd probably wear it all the time.

message 1612: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments One of my favorite games to play as a kid was...

1. Boggle

2. Guess Who

3. Hero Quest

message 1613: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments Hmm I was gonna guess a certain one but I'll say... 2 is the lie?

message 1614: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Bzzt! The lie was Boggle. I probably would have liked it if I played it, but it wasn't available to me at the time. Guess Who and Hero Quest were.

message 1615: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments I guess I will go next!

message 1616: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments Yours helped inspire mine. Here we go...

---

Board games I used to almost literally destroy as a kid were:

1. Clue

2. Chinese Checkers

3. Hi-ho Cherry-O

message 1617: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The lie is...Chinese checkers?

message 1618: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments How did you know, lol? I swear we didn't have Chinese Checkers until I was old enough to follow the rules. And a funny note is I used to put the plastic cherry pieces of Hi-ho Cherry-O in my mouth. You know what fruit I never ate when I was a kid? Cherries. Why did I try to eat the fake ones though, lol? (I did not actually eat them though, just put 'em in my mouth).

message 1619: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Damn it, now I want to drink Cherry Coke Zero...while eating a slice of cherry pie...haha!

My turn!

Whenever I played Super Mario Brothers 2 as a kid, I enjoyed playing as...

1. Luigi

2. Toad

3. Princess Peach

message 1620: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments I will say the lie is 2 Toad!

message 1621: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Ding-ding-ding! You got it! I liked Luigi and Peach because of the way they jumped, which is more than I can say for Toad.

message 1622: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments Garrison wrote: "Ding-ding-ding! You got it! I liked Luigi and Peach because of the way they jumped, which is more than I can say for Toad."

I know this is a late comment but.... I know what you mean.

I played as Princess Peach almost every time! Her ability to float for a few seconds was such a huge advantage, especially for big pits and barely anything to land on!

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments My inspirations for Stories from the "Dead" lands interestingly came from these:

1. I was watching footage of Project Zomboid.
2. I thought of a character in a vulnerable situation that was both literal and symbolic of what she went through.
3. I was rocking out to White Zombie.

message 1624: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Number three is the lie?

message 1625: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments Yep lol! I thought the video game thing would throw people off. i usually come up with stuff on a walk or reading something, not from watching a lets play online haha!

message 1626: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Aside from all that, you don't seem like the White Zombie type. Haha! My turn!

Of all the vacation spots I've been to in my life, my favorite is...

1. Paris, France
2. Victoria, Canada
3. Lego Land, California

message 1627: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Paris, France? We love Paris here

message 1628: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I'm guessing Legoland. I can see it as an inspiration for some of your fantasy art.

message 1629: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The lie was Paris, France. I've never actually been there before, but I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy it if I went. :)

message 1630: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments We love Paris, off the beaten track, it can be abit 'touristy' at the famous landmarks but there's some amazing places to discover if you get a good guide book. We found a famous nightspot frequented by artists and poets such as Picasso, called 'Lapin Agile' it was mad - watch out for the free cherry liquor they serve, its abit strong! I'm abit jealous of your lego land trip though, I love lego!

message 1631: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments 1. I’ve been to Paris but not to Rome.
2. I heard the space shuttle Columbia as it came to pieces.
3. I’ve seen every episode of Downton Abbey at least twice.

message 1632: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hmmm, tricky, I think number 1 is the lie?

message 1633: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments The lie is #3. I’ve never seen an episode of Downton Abbey. (Well, and although it’s true that I’ve been to Paris, I didn’t mention that it was Paris, Texas.)

message 1634: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Ooooo, that was a good swerve, M! Paris, Texas. Haha!

message 1635: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments M with wordplay for the win! :D

message 1636: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Thank you, Garrison and C. J.!

message 1637: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments You're welcome M!

Also I know this is kind of an unofficial rule in this game (I think anyway), but Nicky you can go next if you want!

message 1638: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Oh, okay, hmmm let me think.... How about this,

I have recently built...

A) A 15ft Caterpillar
B) papier mache Tyrannosaurus Rex
C) A witches cauldron big enough to fit a human in.

message 1639: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Is it C?

message 1640: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I’m guessing C, as well. It’s the only one that doesn’t have a constructed animal.

message 1641: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Nope, I did build a witches cauldron big enough to fit a human being in, complete with fake glowing coals and human bones. I don't know what the neighbours thought while all the skulls and bones were hanging up outside my garage to dry!

message 1642: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments A....?

message 1643: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Nope, I also made a 15ft long cattipillar puppet for a local carnival, I made a Butterfly puppet aswell with huge sail - like wings. The theme was regeneration and renewal, for local businesses after the pandemic, it was a tricky theme to translate into carnival puppets!

message 1644: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I never did well on tests with multiple-guess questions.

message 1645: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Whose turn is it now?

message 1646: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I’ll take a turn.

A. I’ve fed cigarettes to monkeys.
B. I’ve rescued a snake that had fallen into a well.
C. I’ve kept tarantulas as pets.

message 1647: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments I'm going to say C is the lie.

message 1648: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I'm going to say A is the lie.

message 1649: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Nicky got it!

message 1650: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Yay! Is it my go now then?
Here goes

I have accidentally...

A) Dyed my hair bright green
B) spilt peanut butter into my sneaker on the way home
C) Shoplifted a haircut
