C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments I'll tell it in about 10 minutes if no one else wants to guess. :)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments Okay I should have followed the rules better. Says that there is one guess at least.

Sorry.

The answer is kind of a trick. Number one. I hate pepperoni! ;P

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Different strokes for different folks.

inactive account (inactiveaccoun) | 48 comments 1. I hate cupcakes and there bland and even don't like frosting.
2.I love The Harry Potter series
3. I love the Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus Books!

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The first choice?

message 1158: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments Number two, goten.

message 1159: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm gonna try this again:

1. We named our terrier-mix dog Cooper after the character Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory.

2. Several years ago I had to have a bone removed from my left foot. The doctor said it looked like it had "exploded" but never figured out why it happened.

3. A few years ago, I got stuck on the top of a ferris wheel ride for about three hours because a part broke. They were (finally) able to safely get everyone down. We got free vouchers for the next time we came to the park.

message 1160: by [deleted user] (new)

Oooh... is it number 3?

message 1161: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, you guessed it! Number 3 is the lie. I probably would be terrified if something like that actually to me! I'm usually not so great with heights!

The other two are truths. My husband and I LOVE The Big Bang Theory and had a rough time coming up with a name for our new dog. We thought of Cooper and it really fits him. He is major quirky! haha!

Number Two actually happened as well. I hobbled around with a big boot/shoe thing for 9 entire months before I demanded surgery. I was in so much pain! The doctor said it would be exploratory because nothing showed up on x-rays. I never thought I would walk again but, thankfully, today, I am just fine. :)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Just like with any post about animals, all I have to say about that is...COOPER-PIIIIIIE!! Belly-rubbin', toe-tappin' puppy-duppy! ^_^

message 1163: by [deleted user] (new)

Garrison, Yes, our little dog Cooper is a major hoot! He knows all kinds of tricks and just looking at him makes you smile! He has a wonderful personality!

message 1164: by [deleted user] (new)

Gosh, J Liana - I am going to guess that Number Two is the lie??

message 1165: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh wow! I couldn't imagine the eye thing! You must have had a terrible headache from the second grade and beyond! Glad to know that you are still here!

My parents live kind of close to a cemetery but I don't think I could live right across from one. Although I don't believe in ghosts or anything like that, I think it would still be kinda creepy!

message 1166: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments My turn!

If I actually was employed, I would be ashamed of telling people I work at…

1. Taco Bell
2. Toys R Us
3. Wal-Mart

Melissa wrote: "Yes, you guessed it! Number 3 is the lie. I probably would be terrified if something like that actually to me! I'm usually not so great with heights!

That would be horrible, I agree :D

And how cute! I bet he's a SERIOUSLY smart dog.

And finally, ouch! It's great you can walk, but that can't have been fun. How weird. XD

message 1168: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments The second one. Taco Bell is just a stepping stone to a job at Dairy Queen.

message 1169: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Yes, M, you got it on the first guess! I'm not really sure about how well Toys R Us pays, but that doesn't matter because if I had the job, I would work around Legos and action figures all day. In other words, I'd be in heaven! ^_^

And M, once again you made me chuckle with your comments. Hehe!

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Let's dust this sucker off and start a new round. My turn again!

I believe this rock album title makes a good slogan in real life:

1. The Mediator Between Head and Hands Must Be the Heart (Sepultura)
2. This World Is Dead (Blockheads)
3. Make Yourself (Incubus)

message 1171: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hi Garrison,
I love The Blockheads but it would be a shame to give up all hope on this world so I think 2 is the lie? I don't know the other two albums - I might go do some homework!

message 1172: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Ding, ding, ding! You got it, Nicky! Number two was the lie! :)

message 1173: by [deleted user] (new)

I agree with this statement about celebrities
1. Taylor Swift needs to write a song not about sadness over a boy.
2.One Direction is amazing
3. Justin Bieber has gone crazy

message 1174: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Number two is the lie?

message 1175: by [deleted user] (new)

......yes.....

message 1176: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I'm more of a heavy metal guy myself, so One Direction doesn't exactly do it for me. But then again, my guess was a shot in the dark.

message 1177: by [deleted user] (new)

I like people who play instruments, 1D doesn't.

message 1178: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Good point.

message 1179: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments In the highly unlikely event that I have a daughter, I’d want her name to be…

1. Wendy Rachel
2. Zoey Ashley
3. Barbara Blanche

message 1180: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments 3 is the lie...

message 1181: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Right on the money, Ryan. Barbara and Blanche are both Baby Boomer names and I want something current for my future daughter (if I have one).

message 1182: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments I hear Khaleesi has become popular...haha!

message 1183: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments So has Pilot Inspektor. And Pirate. And Tu Morrow. Hehe!

message 1184: by [deleted user] (new)

What? I read Eliza,Tyler, and James (for a girl) were becoming popular

message 1185: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Reminds me of that Johnny Cash song "A Boy Named Sue".

message 1186: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4470 comments "My name is Sue! How do you do?!"

message 1187: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments That's the one, CJ!

Most of my creative fuel comes from…

1. Videogames
2. History
3. Dreams

message 1188: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hmm, I would guess number 2? Most of your stories seem quite modern in their context, so that's my guess!

message 1189: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Ding, ding, ding! That's right, Nicky! You win a cookie! ^_^

message 1190: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Ooh, lovely can I have white chocolate with red berries please!

Well, I suppose it's my turn then....

So, how about this....Returns to childhood.

1) Buying sweets for the kids in an old fashioned sweetie shop I spotted some sweets - 'Berwick Cockles' that I hadn't seen since childhood. Buying them and persuading hubbie to try them with me we discovered, contrary to my childhood memory, they were absolutely disgusting!

2) We recently attended a village Scarecrow festival with loads of scarecrows on display including a Prince Charles scarecrow complete with his 'Crown Jewels' available to peek at for a 20p charitable donation - the festival was exactly as I'd remembered it as a child, fabulous!

3)We found a copy of the movie 'Short Circuit' and told the kids it was brilliant - it was rated PG.We sat down to watch it and couldn't believe how much inappropriate language and material there was in it that we had to gloss over.

message 1191: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Hmm...number three?

message 1192: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Number 1 - you loved them?

message 1193: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments A - Hah!

Nope, sadly the sweets were grim and the film has a surprising amount of dodgy stuff for family viewing (hopefully drifted over their heads!)

It was 2! We visited the scarecrow festival for the 2nd year. It's in a little village out in the sticks and it's a great family day out but we'd never heard of it as kids. Now with the magic of the internet their advertising is amazing to the point were they were having problems getting all the visitors parked! The church hall won't so much be be getting a new roof - they'll soon be planning the Media Centre!

Right who's up next - anyone have a funny one? I could do with a giggle!

message 1194: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments A scarecrow would make an awesome antagonist for a horror or fantasy story. Anybody could write it. Hehe! :)

message 1195: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Ok Nicky, I'll continue your return to childhood days.

1) As a young tike I once jumped a paling fence that was missing a board. I found the board as I landed, or rather my foot found the two inch rusty nail protruding from the board. Unfortunately I was wearing thongs and the nail went straight through my foot leaving a scar that is still obvious today.

2) I was once showing off for an older girl on a long rope swing. It swung out over a massive blackberry thicket. Needless to say, I slipped and ended up in a world of hurt with prickles in some places that nobody wants to be prickled. The only thing worse than the pain was the humiliation of having my older crush pull the prickles out of my bum.

3) While racing my cousin down a very steep hill one time, I fell off my skateboard and took all the skin off my bum. I couldn't sit down properly for weeks and the school nurse had to change my dressings each lunchtime, which resulted in all sorts of nicknames.

message 1196: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Ouch!

Wow, spoilt for choice.....Well, I know you have a bit of a record for showing off escapades that go a rye Ryan, so I'll guess 2 is true!! 1 sounds plausible so I'll say 3 is the lie!

message 1197: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Owie, owie, owie, owie!

I say number one is the lie!

message 1198: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Haha, number 3 it is! That scenario happened exactly as described but it was my cousin who came off, not me. Thankfully!

message 1199: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Haha, number 3 it is! That scenario happened exactly as described but it was my cousin who came off, not me. Thankfully!

message 1200: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Oooh poor cousin! But thank goodness it wasn't your butt!

ok, how about....

(Not sure about the use of colourful language so you'll have to fill in the blanks yourselves!!)

I've been asked out by ...

1) 'Harry the B**t**d' a Hells Angel who by day repaired photocopiers.

2) 'Spider' a pot head, would be ladies man and serial barman.

3) 'Lawnmower' a lead singer from a thrash metal band who did a very good cover of message in a bottle.
