wee?

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Hi, the nose bleed I got sprayed across my tee shirt - Leslie got it right; the only one I didn't have to tackle was wee! - A lovely family day out for all!

message 1053: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments A messy, but lovely family day out! :)

If I was in a rock band, I would be the…

1. Vocalist
2. Keyboardist
3. Guitarist

message 1054: by [deleted user] (new)

1?

message 1055: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Nope. Anyone else?

message 1056: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments tricky, I've always fancied I'd like to be the bass guitarist myself ...what about keyboardist?

message 1057: by Billie Jo (new)

Billie Jo (jojolov333) | 239 comments Nicky wrote: "Hmm, 3 maybe?"

Correct! Sorry about the late reply, my internet keeps messing up and I've been super busy!

message 1058: by Billie Jo (new)

Billie Jo (jojolov333) | 239 comments I've only watch a few minutes of one Harry potter movie and I don't even remember which one it was! Haha

message 1059: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments The lie was "guitarist". I always jokingly call myself a "Guitar Villain" because it's a frustrating instrument to play. There was even a time while attempting to play it where I felt like smashing up my guitar like Pete Townsend.

message 1060: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments I suspect that always seems like a better idea before you do it!

message 1061: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Considering it was a Fender Stratocaster, I'm glad I didn't do it. :)

message 1062: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments So here's one for you...

yesterday evening I ...

1)Danced around the kitchen to a Bon Jovi Album I haven't listened to for years.

2)Got caught accidentally finishing off my Hubbie's glass of red wine.

3)Cooked my best friend's recipe for spaghetti carbonara and it turned out nearly as well as hers does.

message 1063: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments 'Slippery When Wet'?

Number three?

message 1064: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I'm with Ryan: number three?

message 1065: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments - I have Slippery When Wet on Vinyl and can't play it in the kitchen so it was 'Cross Roads'

- I did make the Carbonara and everyone ate it - so all was good!

Which kind of gives away the answer .... I did accidentally drink the OH's wine but he didn't notice and just poured us both another one .....shush, don't tell!

message 1066: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Makes me hungry for Italian food and I just ate meatballs and red sauce a few hours ago. Hehe! :)

message 1067: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Yeah, there's just something about Italian food isn't there? It's a bit like having a big hug made of Pasta!

message 1068: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Aww! That's a sweet way to describe it! :)

message 1069: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments My turn!

My favorite game here at the WSS group is…

1. 55th Page
2. Haiku
3. Two-Sentence Horror Stories

message 1070: by [deleted user] (new)

1?

message 1071: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Nope. In fact, I just posted there a few minutes ago about "Dana White: King of MMA" by June White.

message 1072: by [deleted user] (new)

2?

message 1073: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Yep, that would be number two. I have no activity on the haiku thread. I couldn't write within that style to save my life. Just heavy metal and rap lyrics for me, please.

message 1074: by [deleted user] (new)

1.I have to many books to read, and not enough time.
2.I only have two more days with my crush
3.I'm out of school

message 1075: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Sorry December - I hadn't realised you were waiting for an answer....
how about number 2?

message 1076: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments While we're guessing Decembers I'll put this one one as otherwise I'll forget it. Something reminded me of this today and I thought it might do.

1) My me and my OH went to a pub once and they were about to have a pub quiz - the land lady kindly invited us to join in and said she'd made sandwiches for everyone. We though it rude to refuse and agreed. She brought over the sarnies and the quiz started. We couldn't answer a single question and the sandwiches were inedible. We came last and I had to hide the sandwiches in my handbag.

2) On our honeymoon in rural Spain, we decided to go to the local tourist attraction which was a Safari Park. We drove around the park for about an hour without seeing a single animal. We kept stopping and staring at various bits of undergrowth in case something might appear but no dice. The day was ruined.

3)I once went to a wedding with a girl friend and when we arrived at the B&B the room only had a double bed. The on-suite bathroom that had been advertised had the kind of doors usually found in bars in cowboy movies from the 1950's. It was too late to find other accommodation so we just had to whistle the national anthem every time we wanted to use it.

message 1077: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments December: 3?

Nicky: 2?

message 1078: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Ah, Well done Ryan - Yes that is the lie - the day wasn't ruined it was so funny we had a great time. At the end a photographer jumped out and took a photo of us which we could buy. It was presented in a cheesy mount covered with exotic animals - none of which we'd seen - the picture's now on our wall - still in the cheesy mount! It makes me chuckle every time I look at it.

message 1079: by Jason (new)

Jason Salinas #2 is false

message 1080: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments That last sentence gave it away-it sounds like a magic day and a perfect memory to hold onto.

message 1081: by Nicky (last edited Jun 23, 2014 01:52PM) (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Ah, I suspected as much! It was a funny holiday - we also went to a circus in which the acts were a bit strange - there was a lady in some kind of traditional costume who herded pigs, some dogs dressed as footballers and a guy who juggled ping pong balls and caught them in various pouches he had attached to certain points on his waist band - for obvious reasons some tricks were funnier than others! ( I should add that the animals seemed well cared for - I'm not keen on that sort of thing really) We were laughing so much we were crying!

message 1082: by [deleted user] (new)

yup, that's the lie

message 1083: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Let's get this awesome game going again with...

Back when I still had a girlfriend…

1. I took her out for a romantic meal at Burger King.
2. I proposed to her at Taco Bell.
3. I gave her my copy of Fifty Shades of Grey as a Valentine’s Day gift.

message 1084: by [deleted user] (new)

3?

message 1085: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Bzzt! Nope, I actually gave her that book.

message 1086: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Number two?

message 1087: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Ding, ding, ding! Ryan got it, it was number two. I didn't know her well enough to ask her to marry me, much less at Taco Bell. I did, however, take her for a romantic meal at Burger King on our first date. I think I would pass Jeff Foxworthy's redneck test after doing something like that. Hehe!

message 1088: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Ah, the venue doesn't matter - only the company!

message 1089: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments That's a wonderful way to look at it, Nicky. :)

message 1090: by [deleted user] (new)

1.I've never been asked out on a date.
2. People tell me I have been on a date, it wasn't a date.
3.None of my crushes are younger then me.

message 1091: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Number one?

message 1092: by [deleted user] (new)

nope, not yet :)

message 1093: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments Do you mean no as in you haven't been asked out on a date or no as in I got the wrong answer?

message 1094: by [deleted user] (new)

you got the wrong answer, and I haven't been asked out

message 1095: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments In that case, I'm going to guess number two.

message 1096: by [deleted user] (new)

Wrong, I went to a movie with a boy, but it wasn't a date and was in 7th grade so...
I was held back so all the boys in my grade are younger then me.

message 1097: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments I've seen people at Olympic College who are old enough to have white hair, so being older than everyone else isn't all that bad. If anything, it adds to the maturity factor.

My favorite song to almost cry to is…

1. “Remember Everything” by Five Finger Death Punch
2. “Angel” by Sarah McLaughlin
3. “Never Coming Home” by Crossfade

message 1098: by [deleted user] (new)

2?

message 1099: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10110 comments That was it, December. "Angel" makes me sleepy instead of sad due to how peaceful the music is. The other two are part of the perfect soundtrack for a pity party.

message 1100: by [deleted user] (new)

ohhh Wow.
1. I am diabetic
2. I thought I was going to die in my sleep.
3. I am bi-polar
